Take I-80 & Exit 4 to the Bonneville Speedway. Follow the road on the left at the fork to the speedway and then you will find plenty of space on BLM-land. Quiet & nice views.
GREAT CELLULAR SIGNALS!
Lots of trash being left. Pack in pack out y'all.

third time of dispursed camping here. beautiful weather today. not windy as it has been on last two occasions. beautiful sunset. please pick up your garbage people. it's not that hard. Exit 4 of I80. N. Silver Island Mountain Road
Report Check-InLots of open spaces to boondock for free. Closer to the Bonniville salt flat raceway. Beautiful stars at night
Report Check-In3 campsites in a row and in close proximity to each other. Easy access, quiet and beautiful views in every direction. As stated by a previous review, there are quite a few flies. Very good T-Mobile.

Report Check-Inwatch the milky way and thousands of stars. the sunset and sunrise attrack some people. we slept there as many others did ont the flats.
* electricity available in the RV parking at casino Nuggets. electric box are free for trucs and Rv.
We stayed here in our 39-foot Class A. No issue finding a somewhat level spot. Incredible view of the salt flats.
Report Check-InNice place, good for any rig size. Good signal from AT&T. Very quiet at night.
Report Check-InA great place to camp for the night. Right off highway 80. Plenty of spots. Nice and quiet.
Report Check-Inthis is an amazing location to stay at. really easy to get into and not too busy at all.
HOWEVER, we picked up over 4 bags of trash laying all over this beautiful BLM land. let's do better
Report Check-InGreat spread out place in Utah. Easy to get to and not cramped at all. Close to gas and a lot of shops near by.
2-3 bars LTE Verizon
1-2 bars 4G for TMobile
Great spot just as described. Tons of space for many. Got here right at sunset and it was beautiful. Very quiet except for the airport.
Report Check-InStayed for one night. Great place to stay if you’re here for the salt flats. It’s about a 7 minute drive to the salt flats. Take exit 4, then head towards the Bonneville Salt Flats Interpretive Raceway (name on google maps). Go past the Sinclair gas station, continue north along N Boneville Speedway Rd. As you round the corner, take Leppy Pass Rd. There are many sites along/off this rd.
For rest rooms, we filled up and used the rest rooms at the Shell on 80 Wendover Blvd, Wendover. Clean and about 8 mins away.
Easy, open area with room for many. Great stop eastbound or westbound if you are tired near wendover
Report Check-InWonderful weather! This a wide open space with many choices to spend a night or 14. Cell service, water, groceries, alcohol, propane all within 5-10 miles in Wendover off I80.
Report Check-InGreat BLM around Bonneville Salt Flats/Speedway called Silver Island Mtns. There are many sites available with level or near level parking. We stay annually for 1-2 wks getting extra water, groceries, propane etc. in Wendover. Very beautiful hiking, big horn sheep, and of course the Speedway itself. Be very thorough washing your vehicle after driving out there! Salt rapidly corrodes undercarriage & brake assemblies.
Report Check-InTons of great spots on the scenic byway. Well spread out so you’re not on top of your neighbor. Level, easy to get in and out of, no 4 wheel drive required. Tons of room for bigger trailers. We came in early spring and nearly had the place to ourselves. Will definitely be coming back for a quick weekend stay.
Report Check-InGreat boondocking spot within eyeshot of Bonneville Salt Flats and Wendover. I got a few bars of cell service from Verizon. Not the best location for night photography due to light pollution from the freeway and town. There are a few fire rings made of rock marking good locations to park.
Report Check-InAmazing spot right off the Salt Flats. Got my 40’ skoolie in without a problem. Very peaceful.
Report Check-Inhad a nice night's sleep here. make sure you go right off Leppy to find the level spots.
Report Check-InStayed here in late October 2018 and had a peaceful night's sleep. A tiny bit of highway noise and faint train sound, but nothing bothersome. Plenty of spots for all types of rigs here. Make sure to take the first gravel road on the right after you start up Leppy Pass Rd.
Report Check-InAs described, several spots at the start and on the scenic byway (to the right). Quiet and nice views.
Report Check-InNice wide open BLM land. Plenty of room for campers or tents. Some distant sounds of the interstate but not bad by any means.
Report Check-InMain spot is large. Lots of other little spots near the mountains that will provide shelter. Would recommend this place.
Report Check-Ingood place to stop while traveling I 80. If the main spot gets to crowded or if you prefer a little more privacy. head east past this spot, take your second left and an immediate left down a 2 track with pull outs and fire pits.
Report Check-InWe had a quiet night here. Shared the spot with other campers, some traveling others stationary.
It can be really dusty when windy.
The nearby gas station has bathrooms, coin laundry, paid showers, free and fast internet
Lots of open space on BLM land along the road. Beware if muddy or wet! Camping disallowed on the salt flat itself.
Report Check-InNice place to set up camp, lots of space, very private. Gas station with showers and convenience store a few miles away on freeway.
Report Check-InTake I-80 & Exit 4 to the Bonneville Speedway. Follow the road on the left at the fork to the speedway and then you find plenty of space on BLM-land. Quiet & nice views.
