Beautiful, tranquil, and safe spot with views of Huayna Potosi and Condoriri Massif! We asked a lady herding her cows if we could camp here and she said "sure no problem." Road has some potholes but don't think you need 4x4 to get here (others should chime in to confirm). You definitely *do not* need 4x4 to get to the entrance to Laguna Tuni (also pinned on iOverlander) which is just a couple kms before this. We were originally planning on camping at Tuni but there was no one at the puesto de control. We asked a local and they said sometimes it's open and sometimes not. Highly recommended!

We stopped 1km before this point as we wanted to be not too far from Tuni to hike. There are lots of spots on that
road, closed to the river and with a nice view on the mountains. we stayed there 2 nights and we let our van alone an entire day. no troubles.
