Description
Large dirt parking lot away from the road and just beyond the Camp Richardson Resort. Spent all night here without worry. Spotty cell service.

Stayed here 2 nights, after the second a ranger came in the morning and told everyone that although it’s allowed to camp in national forests it is not allowed in the whole Tahoe basin as it is such a busy place. Apparently it’s only allowed to stay in campgrounds. He was super nice though and came at 9am.

Report Check-InAs described. We pulled in at 8:30pm when it was dark, and it was quiet all night. We were the only one here.

Report Check-InAs described! we stayed for one night with 0 issues. It is right off of the road, but there's hardly any traffic as it gets darker. Pleasant place. No data service on Verizon but was able to send/receive texts.

Report Check-InNice location next to the camp with a small ice cream store and a mini supermarket / restaurant. Dog friendly beach next to this spot. Just the big rig next to us who had to run their generator the whole night was noisy but in the middle of the nature
Report Check-InJust as described. Awesome spot. Stayed 2 nights and no trouble. Pretty quiet after 10 as the highway runs by. Biking trail runs right by it. no facilities but can go to bathrooms at Kiva picnic area (actually free beach that allows dogs!) and lots of hiking trails around.
