I‘m not sure whether they changed the name or if it is another place. It is very closed. However, we stayed at the Eco lodge, a absolute wonderful place to stay. Not for big motorhomes. But our Sprinter fitted. Sam and Linda are very friendly, the place with wonderful trees and birds, food very tasty!
This place does NOT want persons camping that are vehicle based, as they do not want vehicles driving on their grass, which is their camping area. They not only charged us 1000Ksh pppd but also charged us 2000ksh per day for our vehicle. As long as you don’t drive on the grass, they are happy to have you tent camp. As we arrived too late to find anywhere else before dark, we stayed. The lightening bugs after dark are magical and we could hear hippos all night.
