20mins away from the dinosaur provincial park. it's beautiful, quite (with the odd vehicle driving by the main road) and can fit any sort of vehicle you have
Open as pay campground ($12). Nice, clean, quiet. Large and numerous rattlesnakes.
Report Check-InI’ve been at the place yesterday and it was close. I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent.
Je suis allée à cette place hier et c’était fermée. Je ne sais pas si c’est temporaire ou permanent.
Report Check-InCamping parc gratuit.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Is close to a road but it isn't busy so not too noisy. Pit toilets had toilet paper and was clean. Campground was tidy. Theres a cook shelter with wood stove and each site has a fire pit, most of them also have a picnic table.
Report Check-InThis is an awesome spot! Spent 2 nights. Its a full campground with fire pits and out houses. Tons of room, and only a handful of others there (during the week). Right beside the river. Unfortunately all private land around the campsite so there is no where to park but you could bring a canoe and paddle around the river. About 20-30 minutes from dinosaur provincial park. Would stay again!
Report Check-InClosed! Sign says “Site Closed” maybe due to covid-19 I don’t know. But couldn’t get in due to steel gate and sign.
Report Check-InGreat campsite! Private spots and no one else there on saturday night.
Report Check-Inspent two nights here with only 2 other sites occupied. toilets stink, cookhouse covered in graffiti. heard there can be rattlesnakes, but didn't see any. short walk to river. no cell service. partial sun for solar. large sites.
Report Check-InOnly 30 minutes from Dinosaur Provincial Park, it is much quieter, less crowded, larger sites, fewer mosquitos, and it is free :0p
Sign stating “Provincial Park Boundary” so it is managed. The toilets are clean (the door fixed), a central large covered shelter with tables, (handy when raining). There is a little road noise during the day but hey! Terrific bargain considering the price!
Report Check-InReally lush spot. Lots of trees and shade. Pit toilets are pit toilets, broken doors but one has a temporary cable tie with a hook fix. There are nice individual spots with picnic tables and fire pits. I happened to stay on a night when there was a big group of lads having a party but otherwise imagine it would be a really lovely quiet spot. Would definitely stay again. No phone service at all.
Report Check-InNice quiet campground for free, not far away from provincial park
Report Check-InCampgroud is small and private, lots of trees and gras, toilets are not clean at all but are still okay for one night. Really close to the provincal Park!
Report Check-InA very nice place with fire pits and toilets. I saw many birds and a beaver by the river.
Report Check-InSuper endroit plutôt pour les tentes et petits VR. toilettes sèches.abri en-cas de pluie avec fournaise et bidons métallique pour faire le feu ...
Report Check-InIt's open now, but not very well maintained. Tables and toilet have seen better days. It looked like a place where teens come to hang out and that turned out to be true.
It's fine for a night, but don't expect much.
The place looked really nice, but it was closed for the season (big locked gate). I would guess this campground opens May long weekend.
Report Check-InGreat little campground nestled in shady poplar trees. The hoodoos are close by on the south or you can comfortably walk to the next turn off to the north to experience them on foot. I didn’t have an issue with mosquitoes on my visit. One of the bathrooms needs a door
Report Check-InVery beautiful campground with fire pits and tables, the toilets are not very well maintained (one door is broken), there are a lot of mosquitos if there is no wind!
Report Check-Ina FREE campground maintained by parks canada
fireplace and outhouses
little shack in the middle with an (woodfired) oven and two tables
30m gravelroad between the campground and the highway
there is a river nearby, but I wouldn't use the water
