Gorgeous boat ramp parking lot. Bathrooms open and well kept. No hot water though. Great views of the river and mountains. No one bothered us. Saw a big RV park overnight earlier in the week as well.

Nice place to stay in a van down by the river. The courthouse across the way was pretty. Bathrooms were clean and functional (no hot water) but there were lights. In the morning it got a little busy in the lot with people using the bathroom and school buses waiting in the lot. No issues, no complaints.

Clean accessible bathrooms.
A beautiful view of the Lock Haven court house (which has a bell tower that rings on the hour) and Levee trail across the river.
A little dock, benches, and picnic tables. Perfect little spot; however, it’s exposed, not really tucked away.
We had no disturbances and rested peacefully.

Great location right by the river. Showed up around 1500 hrs with almost no one around. Parking lot filled up quickly since it turns out that today is a festival of some sort. Watched fireworks and hung out with the locals. Friendly area.

Quiet, lovely views, wide parking, everything the other have said! Bathrooms are locked for winter months but still, a treasure spot!

Great spot. Very clean bathrooms with flush toilets, beautiful water view, and well lit Parking lot. There is a fair amount of road noise but it was not too loud. Cops made a lap around 9pm but was not bothered, one other van staying.

It's just like everyone else has said. Large level, paved parking lot riverside. I stayed last night without a problem. 3 bars Verizon.

great large paved lot with pull through parking for large rigs. great view of the sunset at the river. looking forward to a good night's sleep here.

Loud with teems revving engines abs racing up and down road until 11:30; but it was Saturday night. Lovely and peaceful after. Bathroom is modern, but without lighting, take a headlamp. Lights on walkway on opposite side of river give the area a nice, soft, glow. Large pull through parking spaces. No electric/water/dump - but beats a rest area to catch some zzz’s while RV traveling.

Tried to stay here. Was there for two hours waiting for the locals to disperse. More people just kept showing up, talking and blasting music. With my windows slightly cracked - Seemed like someone was selling some drugs; as he was parked on my right, and cars kept pulling into the empty spot to my left and leaving some minutes later once the convo was over. I took all my shades down to move and saw the car to my left and right lighting up.

Perhaps I just got unlucky this night, but it’s a bummer it was ruined only a few hours after being there.

as described by other posts. after dark a few cars pulled in and parked right next to me. clearly not campers. the whole area was empty so felt uneasy that they would park on either side of me. waited a bit and they were hanging out in their cars. no thanks. left and went to flying j's 15 minutes away. much much much better and feel more safe. other campers here, well lit. a Dennys for the morning. Just be aware.

What a great spot to sleep. Beautiful spot right along the river. The lot had a few locals there when we got there. We parked off to the side for the night being it was dark. The next day we actually parked in a spot for a second night. We were joined the second night by a van.

Nice boat dock. Lots of parking. Right on the road, but honestly the boats are louder. Picnic tables and flush toilets. Garbage cans.

Nice place to sleep, only local traffic from the road. Pretty quiet and peaceful night. Absolutely stunning sunrise on the lake.

nice spot, bathrooms were well stocked (decent TP even!) and clean.

I arrived at the end of a nice summer day so there were a good number of people partying in the parking lot, presumably after a day of boating, so beware of that during the high summer if you're trying to get a good night's sleep.

Lovely spot on the river. Quiet, with a bit of local traffic, possibly so quiet due to Covid. All good through night with a little street noise.

Great quiet place with minimal traffic noise. Free clean public restrooms. We arrived after dark and left before light, so can’t comment on anything else.

Excellent recommendation and so much better that rest area on I80, even if about 15min out of the way...

Lock Haven is a really beautiful town. We weren't too excited about staying at a boat ramp, but we were desperate for a place and thought we'd check this out. It's great! The parking lot is large, paved, quiet, and dark. The bathrooms are flush, not pit toilets and there is lots of green space. Picnic tables dot the water front. Good place for a night or two. There is a YMCA right across the bridge if you want a shower or a workout while you're here. Love it, thanks! No generators please.

Parkinglot with Boatramp. Picknick tables. Road directly near by, but its not that laud. Power only in the Ladies Restrooms.
