Something not right?

Description

Park is currently closed: 5/21/20.

Boat ramp with no posted signs. 1 pit toilet, bad condition.
Lots of bugs. LOTS.

Other than the sound of bugs trying to ram their way into your vehicle. it's a quiet place. there is a grassy section to possibly pitch a tent. But I don't know if you could actually get away with it.

Latest Check-Ins

Did not spend the night as there was a lot of ambient noise from a few industrial chimneys just over the road. Shame, as it would have been a nice location otherwise. the toilet is a drop toilet and is pretty nasty, but it will do on a pinch. The boat landing is out of use, so you will likely not be disturbed. There was a little trash that I had to pick up when I arrived, but nothing too terrible.

Report Check-In

Open, busy boat ramp, plenty of space, toilet should have a sign “abandon hope....” so have a secondary plan. Wood ticks, cicadas in trees. But if you like to boat or fish. I’d stop here. GREAT sprint reception

Quiet, pretty, on lake. Spent one night here. Worth the drive.

Report Check-In

Nice location on a lake, no bugs at this time of the year. Grassed area or gravel to park on. Pit toilets no running water. A few cars came in during the night but no one bothered us. Easily set up a tent
