Beautiful and quiet place with a lot of dogs and walking distance to the center, 150l/pp, only outdoor shower and you cannot use the pool. they also dry coffee there so you might be able to buy some fresh coffee of the region :)

the camping belongs to the hotel „ciudad blanca“ and you might have to go there first to get the keys for the toilet (10min walk).

PLace is very nice and we camped here in a tent. Plenty of space for it, price 300L. It seems the original owner passed away sort of recently and some things have changed with his kids as the owners now:
You need to go pay and get the receipt at another hotel they own (Alfredo who takes good care of the place will take you there)
The maintenance is not the best and the water can go out at points
They have internet (they didn't provide the password for us) bathroom with water, electricity and a shower outside by the pool (non functional may at some point be fixed) without privacy

The place is nice and very well kept. When we stayed here the water wasn t running because of pump issues. Nevertheless we could fill up our own container.
We almost lost our car and belongings because the whole ground got flooded within minutes due to heavy rainfalls in the surrounding area of Copan. Better check the weather in advance especially in october and november. Thanks to Alfredo, the caretaker of the property who lives on the site. He helped us to get out right in time.

Report Check-In

Nice place to camp near Copan ruins. Vast grassy field. The pool and sauna were closed when we came but we could still access toilets. There is a pool shower outside, nice for refreshing but not too take an actual shower! We paid 300 lempiras. And we were able to refill our water tank.

Report Check-In

It seems that the shower and pool are not available anymore, but still 300 lemp per car, we dit not stay

Spending the night here, maybe two and this place is open.
The grounds are super well kept, the family who cares for it I think lives in older home here.
Lively cabanas for rent, small little soaker pool but no shower for camping.
Large field, quiet and allows our dogs but they have a few so we are leashed but that is fine
Recommended and open for business
We are paying 300L for two people and three dogs. Good for us
Nice breeze for cooler temps, shade under tree.
Yes to Sian Kaan 🤙🏻
No wifi in field that is for sure 🫵🏻

We were asked for 15 USD but negotiated 10 USD per night. Large space for camping, kitchen, electricity, pool and wifi. The pool shower is the only one, the toilet hasn‘t been cleaned in a while. Enrique is a nice and talkative guy.

We wanted to go but they wanted to charge us 15 dollars per person. We found it a lot. We told them that others paid 100 lempiras just for the car but the answer was that it is now worth 15 dollars per person. We slept in the police entering the city.

Report Check-In

As described. 100l per night. Water and electricity available. Walk to town, good restaurants, ruins are worth a visit especially with an English speaking guide. Our dog picked up a couple of ticks. Check them over daily. Stayed 3 nights. Close to Guatemala border crossing.

Nice property with pool, really it feels like the owner's party villa. You will be greeted by Enrique. We think the owner lets Enrique keep what he makes from the campers, and he's still trying to figure out the appropriate prices to charge and his responsibilities. No hot showers; the only one is the outdoor rinse "shower" next to pool. We took bucket showers in the non-functioning sauna. The kitchen area and bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while, so we kind of cleaned it ourselves so we made it our own for a few days! Some power outlets you can use near main building, and plenty of water spigots.

There is a washing machine here. Talk to owner about using it if you can, or offer Enrique a firm price beforehand, because he tried to ask for more money after we did all the laundry. I really don't think the owner cares.

We negotiated 100 L/ night but didn't really use electricity.

This is a beautiful property with a very nice family caretaking. We paid them $100l per night. We never talked to anyone else here. But it felt welcoming and very peaceful. Loads of space for rigs. Bathrooms. Water.

We visited with the owner. This is his personal finca. He is mostly vegetarian, so he removed the cattle years ago. Now it is a big beautiful property with lots of room. Big rigs fit with no problems. There is an outside kitchen and sauna. He said the two cabanas are mostly for family and friends, but he has occasionally rented them out. The property goes back to the river, there is ample grass, shade, and very large concrete pad. There is onsite caretakers and a big security gate at the entrance. He told us no charge to stay. We were told, "Mi casa is su casa". He did not charge anything to camp. Very friendly, bilingual owner.
