For tent camper: There are beautiful campspots near the waterfall. Not accessible by car.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Closed to camping… not sure why but they said that they no longer allow people to park overnight.
Report Check-InThe lady at the cash desk wanted to send us back to the river place which is proper mentioned in the other description as she was frightened for having us in during the opening next morning. We promised to leave bevor 8.30 and got her approval. Space also for big rigs. The road is partwise steep but we did with 2wheel drive. 100pp entrance plus 90 for camping. Clean toilet and fresh water. Some „restaurants“, we joined dinner at 4.30 and were the last guests. It was 180 for rich enchiladas and regular quesadillas. Worth.
Report Check-InThis is the location of the entrance to the cascada. There is on street parking only which is all on a slope. We asked the lady at the ticket booth about camping and she said there was no camping....
Report Check-InOpen again. The waterfall and the hike are so beautiful! it worth the stop. 80 pesos for person.
Report Check-InIgnore my last comment - I checked at a tourist office in Pinal de Amoles; they're closed because the people running it are on holiday, nothing to do with Covid - should be open again by the time this message is added! (20th Jan they said)
Report Check-InFalls are currently closed again, as of a week ago. I get the impression due to the latest pandemic wave, though this is hearsay.
Report Check-InBeautiful waterfall and water pools in the forest. Were here on a Tuesday, only few visitors here. Night absolutely quiet. Entrance fee is 80pp, overnight 70pp, hence total 150pp.
Report Check-Ingood camping spot, can fit medium size rigs but taller ones will brush the leaves and there are some tight turns. 80 pesos per person for camping which is a good deal since entrance fee is 40 pesos per person
Report Check-InVery basic but good place to overnight as there are toilets open all night and it felt safe (it’s gated). For our van with 2 people he charged us 80 pesos per person. There’s a nice 20 min trail to the waterfall with places to swim. Warning: I got horrible food sickness from eating sopes from one of the food vendors (probably the lettuce that was on it).
Report Check-InJolie promenade qui mène a une cascades. Petit resto avec gérante tres sympathique
Report Check-InThis place is beautiful! I camped inside the gated area but not at the falls. Rigs cant make it to the falls as on a narrow trail gives way to get to the falls. With a tent you can camp near the falls. With a rig you park near in a lot inside the park, but a nice walk to see the falls. Trail to the left of the river takes you to the base if the falls. On the right to a platform for observation. You can jump the fence to access the pool at the falls too! Paid 40 for entrance fee and 40 for camping! No showers available yet, but they are currently being built! A dip in the pool at the falls is refreshing, i found this pool to have less silt when walking on the pool floor.
Report Check-InWe were too late to camp at the falls, but the guy told us to camp in the big flat area by the stream at the bridge before the falls entrance. It's at the side of the track, but he said it is very safe and it felt fine. Didn't hear or see a single vehicle pass. No facilities. Free.
Report Check-InPretty nice walk to a pretty river and cascade. We paid 40$ per person to enter and another 40$ per person to over night on the parking inside (with access to toilet). We felt super safe, it is quiet and dark.
Report Check-InGate isn’t locked, but it feels safe. Entrance was 40 pesos. Quesadillas from the lady who speaks English were excellent . Friendly atmosphere.
Report Check-InFalls are open 9am - 4pm.
We arrived at 5pm, so we couldn't get into the fenced area. but the staff said, it would be okay to sleep in our van and park it in front of the gate. no charge, to facilities, not leveled, good for the night.
The waterfall is beautiful and the path doable in 20-30 min. For tent campers, there are a few places to camp near the waterfall. There are toilets, fire pits and some even places for tents. If you sleep in your car you can stay on the parking lot. The stuff will lock the gate and keep the toilets open, we felt very safe.
Report Check-InVery beautiful site and super sweet people working here! The path to the "pools" and the cascada was open when we came. The road to get to the entrance is very steep and narrow but was ok with a small 2wd (astro van).
We paid 70$ per person. Toilets are 5$ during the day for people going to the cascada but probably free if you camp we dunno. It's the cleanest toilet we saw in Mexico so far!
Cute and delicious food stands during the day. The families were so so so kind.
At night, you are alone in the park. They lock the gates and let you stay there by yourself. Toilets are kept opened but bring your tp for the night!
Report Check-InGreat parking space. Toilets with running water. Beautiful walk to the cascada and natural swimming pools.
