ADMIN NOTE: Place removed because camping is illegal here.
Free parking for RVs, etc at the ski resort. Follow signs for lot 3. No amenities, but I have Project Fi and got a great signal up there. If you're wanting to hike or mountain bike in Fernie and have your own rig, this works out pretty well.

Lot 2 for overnight parking and now 30$. Have access to the toilet but other than that Not worth paying for that.
Report Check-InReview is incorrect, location is not closed - sort of. While it’s no longer free to park overnight here, it is possible. But only in P2 during the summer season, and P4 during the winter season. Contact guest services for arrangements. Also note that there is a gap between the seasons in the fall and spring. Fully closed during those times.
Report Check-InLast reviewer was right! Lot 3 and 4 are no overnight parking. Pay to stay in lot 1 we didnt and moved on
Report Check-InDON’T PARK HERE. I’ve sent a notice to iOverlander through their ‘report a problem’ link. We tried to park here and were followed by a resort vehicle who waved us down to tell us that RV parking is only allowed in lot 2 and that it is $15 per night. There is no longer free parking at Fernie Alpine Resort.
Report Check-InLot 3/4 area is currently under development with new housing. There is RV parking in Lot 2 but only for a fee of $15 per night and no amenities.
Report Check-InDON’T PARK HERE. Lot 3 doesn’t seem to exist anymore and houses are being built where it used to be. Lot 4 is under construction and closed. We parked close to Lot 4 and woke up to banging on our van at 2am telling us they don’t allow camping here.
Report Check-InAs described, big open lot with at least 5 other vans and RVs. No hookups, but it’s quiet and safe and there are dumpsters on the way out for you to get rid of trash. We also got a pretty incredible view of the mountains to wake up to!
Report Check-InWorked out great. Not lot 3 but parking area in front of a hotel (red building). It's the first parking lot on the right. A guy came out to register us. It was free and there are many downhill mountainbike trail. Many people showed up later and probably didn't register. Practical spot.
