Stopped 3 nights. Nice campsite. Our pitch was on a bit of a slope. There are others that appeared flatter.

Très bon séjour. Emplacements ombragés. Attention certains son5 sur les voies d’accès.
Place #32 accessible pour véhicule 37 ft.
Idéal pour visiter les parcs Séquoia et Kings canyon.

As described except it is now $28/night. Would still maybe be worth it if the Generals Hwy was open. But then if it were open dispersed camping in Sequoia NP would be better

It’s also about 20F hotter than the rest of the park because the much lower elevation. Lots of mosquitoes also

No T-Mobile. As always

Great place to disconnect from the world - no cell service whatsoever. However, there is an actual pay phone that works ($1 gets you two minutes anywhere in the US)

Nice place. Several camping spots but people behave nicely. Most camping grounds are not leveled. So either bring blocks o choose wisely. Internet is very poor (fortunately). So book in advance. We came late and it said full at the park entrance. It was mostly empty. We realized it said full because you need to book online not because it was in fact full.

We saw a big brown bear as soon as we were pulling in to the campground! Got to spot #4 it was $22 per night. There were bear lockers at each site, and a picnic table which was nice. Other campers were nice and respectful. There was a ranger coming around telling everyone about the bear and most said they had seen him multiple times already today. Bathrooms were a nice bonus. Flushing and had toilet paper and a running sink. Even an outdoor sink for washing dishes and boots etc. The stars and milky way view were awesome. No electric or wifi but that’s ok. Many tent campers.

Okay place. Sites are very small and facilities are not the cleanest. But great for entering the park in the morning.

Conveniently located campground tucked along a river in the foothills of Sequoia National Park; it's the first camp when leaving/entering through Three Rivers. Spaces are close to one other, but people are respectful and it was quiet. Online reservations required when we were there the Wednesday night before Memorial Day weekend; we found availability a few days before. $22/night. Bear lockers provided but we didn't see any activity in the area. Surprised the toilets flush!

You are now required to make a reservation online. It’s only $11, (vs. $22), if you have an interagency pass. You can use the foothills visitor center free WiFi (10 minutes down the road) to make a reservation if you didn’t already.
My spot was not very level and you’re pretty close everyone else, but not bad for $11.

A great site on the way into the park. Some sites still closed after the storm but most accessible. Nasty fire damage visible all around. No reservations so first come only this time of year. Got pretty busy later at night on Friday. Dump station over the road was closed but we found that there is a sewer at the host campsite just outside of the washroom, so we used that. Also has a decent hose station for filling. Bad ATT service. $22 or $11 for senior pass. Trail to the falls starts in the CG.

Report Check-In

Due to the recent winter storms, eight campsites were closed due to downed trees.
The campground has so much dead debris all over and there were a lot of low hanging and bending trees. I decided to not take the risk with my Sprinter and drove back down to Three Rivers.
I’m sure this spot is gorgeous and well taken care of in the late spring & summertime. Most spots are indeed unlevel and you’re within view of everyone around you.
I saw toilets and a lot of trash bins, which is great.
When I came here, there were no other camper vans/trailers - it was all tent/car campers.

Nice little campground! First come first served.
Most sites are not level.

very good place to stay overnight. clean restrooms ! Quiet. Very bad cell service.

Report Check-In

Very nice place full of squirrels and deers next to the river. Beware, most of the sites are not at all level, bring your equipment if needed.

Report Check-In

After October 1st, no reservations needed, first come first serve and was able to use the Host Site (after checking in with ranger - no host on duty this time of year). Had water, electric and sewer at the site that was working.
