Description
Awesome local spot by the sea,the river and lighthouse. Yolanda and Pancho are great hosts and will let you sleep for free on the car park if you eat at the restaurant. The locals are super nice and we had a blast staying there for a few days.

The restaurant is still there but I was in RV park Huerta don chano for 3 days and could not find anybody in that restaurant. Same for the other restaurant here in iOverlander as well. Am American guy lives in this restaurant but confirm that the restaurants are closed and not open for camping.
Report Check-InAwesome spot. Put up my tent beside the restaurant. When I arrived Yolanda made me Ceviche with fish. First time having it and it was excellent. the ocean is a 2min walk and the lighthouse maybe 10.
Very nice family. I met one of her younger sons, and he was very friendly. 2 dogs as well. charged my phone, got some wifi, and she is freezing my ice pack for me!! lovely people and a great spot. Definitely getting breakfast in the morning as well!

Report Check-InWonderful place, great food, friendly atmosphere, super views, very reasonable prices. Yolanda’s brother also provides a boat service for cyclists on the Baja Divide to Los Hornitos and runs sport fishing trips. Ask in the restaurant.
Report Check-InGreat little place, put my tent with a view of the bay. Yolanda is very helpful & friendly, she has good English and is very patient with my sub standard Spanish! Super breakfast too. There are 2 quiet and friendly dogs and the WiFi is reliable. There is a small book swap as well. Great place to relax for a few days.

Report Check-InVery friendly locals. Do yourself a favor and have a great Mexican food or some drinks at the restaurant and you'll get a safe place to camp, right in front of the beach, with toilets, and BBQ grill to use. Not to mention to know some locals.
