Great lil stop beside the river, just out of Ft Steele. Basically a pull in beside the road, can hear the river, so clean … had a lil bonfire streamside with coffee this am , cold water bath 🛀… busy enough road in the day … great for an overbite stop
Report Check-InNow has signs for no overnight camping, but nice place to spend the day by the river.
Report Check-InOh this s a nice place!
From the road you only see the big dirt parking lot, no trees, nothing special. But you have to go and fallow the dirt road down the river. There are about 12 more sites available just by the river and 4 others in the forest.
Many locals know this place. There was still some site available.
Sites are far from each other and with the sound of the river we felt alone.
You bearly ear the road and train if you have a spot close to the river.
There was 3 fifthwheel who manage to get down there, but it is limit for big rigs. Or maybe the big rigs came from the forth steel station road in town?!
Cellular signal is weak but ok with bell/vigine provider.
We spent two nights
Report Check-InI thought it was nice and lovely by the river. That is except for the trailer who ran a sewer hose into the river.
Report Check-InPlace just off the highway by the river.
Not the nicest place, but okay for one night.
