Nice rocky place at the beginning/end of the road to Pantanal. There is a little entrance that you can use to get there. No facilities but nice view and hidden from the road and the dust. Very quiet and almost no mosquitos and insects !
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Desafortunately, the spot is currently closed. (look photo)
Report Check-InAmazing place with an incredible view and very different landscape than the rest of the pantanal. Beware of the cacti with super long thorns (we were lucky that they didnt damage our wheels to much and we could pick them out with not much problems)
Report Check-InProbably on of the top 5 spots in South America so far. It’s truly peaceful with an amazing view, you can only hear the jungle animals. Not visible from the road, no one around.
To get there you definitely need high clearance, to go down from the road to the track. 4wd not necessary.
However it’s a challenge to go back up on the street. We did it with an old VW T3, 2 wd.
