great view of the river. great staff. could use Wifi in Hotel. Could use swimming pool. as long as we spend some money. paid 10 real to carpark attendant per day. toilets available inside hotel. congierge is Bernardo very helpfull but only speaks portegueze and a little spanish.

Parking lot. Mostly quiet and great view of the Rio Negro. We could use all the facilities of the hotel (although we didn't ask). Very helpful and friendly taxi drivers from hotel taxi.
Update: maybe the hotel changed their policy, maybe we weren't low profile enough (we had our rooftop tent open the whole day) but on our last day the management urged us to leave. We were however offered a stay in the hotel but against the regular price of BR200 a night.

Such a nice place to stay. Directly on the Amazon. We are still stunned how hospitable everyone is, and that you can use all hotel facilities for free. Impossible in Europe :-)! Great for kids, too: the hotel has a little Zoo and a playground, and the pool is very nice. Nice Caipirinhas at the bar. The price of the parking is negotiable, and for some reason they don‘t stick to the rather high prices on their list and you can get them to agree to 10r per day. Marina Davi is in walking distance, where you can catch public boats to all kinds of places of interest.
Obviously, this arrangement seems to be working because of goodwill. So please be polite, respectful and nice. Then this great option will hopefully remain open to many other overlanders. Enjoy!
We stayed for two nights and payed 10 R. Could also use swimmingpool and Toilets and Wifi. Nice people. We spent some money at the bar and in the restaurant. A great deal!
