Description

Beer garden, brewery, homemade sausage a few kilometers away from Portoviejo. The German owner is friendly, you can park and sleep here on gravel in the parking lot for free, granted you eat or drink something from the restaurant.
The restaurant is good, although a little but pricy. The main attraction are the beers (home-brewed, blond, amber, IPA... and others) and home-made whisky and rum.
You can have a tour of the brewery on Fridays.
Overall, good place to have a drink and sleep.

You can also buy homemade German Bratwurst, Leberwurst (liver wurst) and Salami. Lecker! Yum-yum!

Owner passed away unfortunately but his wife seems to continue the tradition and still hosts guests.

Nice place to stay. Cabana’s,Pool&restaurany (only Fri, Sat en Sun), Banos, outdoor shower next to pool, electricity, water to use for washing up (riverwater), beers, sausages and big desayaunos in restaurant.
Widower Sylvia likes the company of Overlanders, so still open for us travelers.
The owner who passed away recently (6 months) was German, so the Beers are great! Not sure where she will put you if you have tent but sure she will give you a good spot.

Stayed one night in our truck in the parking lot. Gate is always closed, just tell the security he shall call "Silvia" she is the boss and gate gets open soon. She is such a nice and welcoming person! The Beer Garden was closed the day we have been there, but she served us some great beers, "Helles" and "Altbier". we also could visit the brewery and using the very clean pool. totally recommended ❤️

Just came here. Now they have security in front but if you say you want to the restaurant you can get in. Unfortunately the owner passed away (Joachim) and now only the wife is remaining. We asked the waiter if there is the opportunity to camp here and then the wife accompanied us. She was very welcoming and offered us a spot for some days on their grass to camp. So far seems to be free and we ate a little bit to compensate it.

Really nice place to stay one night. The restaurant is open during weekends only, however we were still allowed to camp here on a Thursday. We brought delicious beer of the brewery and spend hours chatting with the friendly owners. They allow us to use the clean toilet of the restaurant.
