as we were not allowed to stay at the hotel we went to this parking. they lock the gate at night. if it is closed you can walk through their little shop. they welcome campers, but without dogs ( as they have their own dogs). cats are allowed. we parked our sprinter on grass, secure, quiet at night, potable water. 20 sols/ vehicle
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We slept here twice- before Macchu Pucchu and after. Really relaxed family who own the place. A busy cochera but never a problem to park. We didn’t use their shower and toilets but did fill up our water tank on the way out. 20 soles a night, perfect stay for Ollantaytambo. -Lavanderia next door.
Report Check-InCochera 5 min walking from the train station.
Wouldn't fit more than 2 big rigs as the rest of the area is for buses and collectivos bringing tourists to the train station to Machu Picchu.
Paid 25 soles per night with electricity ( 20 soles without).
friendly peolple
We think we went here. The picture looks different now. There is a second roof on the other side. We paid 20 sol for the night with our van. Lovely owner who let us fill water. Toilet and shower available. Gate closed 8.30 pm. Great place in Ollantaytambo
Report Check-In20 Soles still - we arrived at 14.00 one day and left at 18.00 the next day. Gate is closed at night, opens at 4.00, so there is no problem catching the first train. Clean toilet.
Report Check-InStayed here two nights. Good to take the first train in the morning. We were allowed to take a shower which they said is cold. Just turn on the fuse-switch outside the toiletdoor and you have at least a lukewarm shower.
Report Check-InStill S 20/camper, only 5 min to the train station and 1 km to the ruins.
The parking lot is only near the street flat, but enough space for our big rig (7,85 m long, 2,50 m wide, 3,65 m high)
Great spot to leave your car if going to Machupichu or to camp at Ollantaytambo. Pay 20 for every 24hr. They let us use the toilet.
Report Check-InWe stayed here two nights. Handy to take the 5:00 a.m. train to Macho Picchu Pueblo - ten minute walk. 20soles a night. Easy walk to town.
