Description

Street parking at this very quiet park (day and night) next to a police station.
The area from Av. Juan de la Rosa towards Av. América and then towards the Palacio Portales seems wealthy. Many streets are very wide, almost no parking. Weight restrictions.
E.g. check out Pasaje Portales. Enormous broad dead-end road next to the Palacio!

Feels very safe and we had no trouble with our truck entering this place.

quiet place in Cochabamba. about 3 km from the center but it's easy to find a taxi around the square. there is water in a look on the grass at the edge of the square and the shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. the place is in a wealthy and quiet area. we stayed there for about a week. easy access even for large vehicles.

Nice and quiet spot in Cochabamba. Nice neighborhood with some shops nearby. Around 30min walk to the city center

Great and safe place to stay in Cochabamba. Even better if, like us, you have a dog. Many friendly people and dogs around, nice neighborhood, police station at the corner of the park, and most importantly, really good food nearby. It's worth the splurge to go to Jacaranda (check iOverlander for location) for the charque.

The police station doesn’t exist anymore but this neighborhood is still very quiet and nice. We spent 2 nights (Saturday and Monday) parked in the streets near the Plaza and it was perfect, there was a lot of shops, restaurants (and mechanics) not far.
Town center is at a walking distance (~30mn) and is very quiet and nice too.
No toilets, no water tap, no trash can around...
