Corges beautiful view from the cliff | Tourist Attraction

We did a quick visit there in the morning, because we were very close, but actually I'm not sure if it worths the detour.
Specially, if coming from Angola where you get a lot of similar landscapes.

Young guys arrived indeed, asking for money to see the view. We discussed, asked for receipt, nothing. The young guys were really nice, we went to have a look and didn’t payed.

BUT

The guide (who showed us his badge - legit), gave us lots of explanation and proposed us a hike in the canyon. Calling price is 7500 CFA pp, can obviously be discussed.
We haven’t done the hike, but I would recommend this gentleman.

Nice place to stop. Takes you right to the edge from where you can see it. It’s a 5-10 min. stop. Indeed two youngsters appeared, were very quiet, then as we were leaving said they were from an association but I made it very clear that we weren’t going to pay and they didn’t try too hard and just walked away. Was no big deal. Worth a visit!

Be aware as on other places in rep congo there are young men appearing and asking you to pay an entrance fee. Always ask for a proof of beeing a guide.

Really nice place to visit and see a beautiful landscape. You might also be able to camp here but ask permission since there are guys who keep the place clean over there. The location might not be exact but you will see signs!
