Description

Its a nice restaurant. The almuerzos are an average side road price. They let us park in their yard (very levelled) for COP$ 10.000 pp (2022). We could use the pool, showers and toilets for a small fee. Very nice place with a chillout area and tv too. A lot of levelled green space. Very friendly and helpful owner and stuff.

This restaurant has changed management. It is now called "1919 Barbacoa". They specialize in cooked smoked meats such as brisket. You can make a quiet stop along the way, with paid accommodation, access to a pool and cold showers.

Do not stay here. The owner has the stinky attitude and is very greedy. We came here at night and he asked us 30,000 for night. When we asked can we plug in for electricity he said 10,000 more but when we were plugging our small camper he said no, electricity is only for charging phones. And wouldn’t let us plug in electricity no matter what we pay. He refused to give us wifi password. The parking lot itself is next to highway so you will hear trucks rolling next to you all night. Overall very unpleasant stay.

Nice restaurant with a green area and a lottle swimming pool on the backside. The owners are very nice people as described. We (cyclists) were allowed to pitch our tent on the grass next to the swimming pool and use the pool. First, they wanted 20'000 COP p.p. Then we agreed on 15'000 and that we eat breakfast there! We recommend that place.

Passed by today. The place is still there but everything was locked. Not sure because of low season or they only open on weekends.

This was a last minute stop as we got delayed and couldn't reach our planned destination near Honda. The couple running the restaurant and their daughter were very welcoming and gave us a great place to park on their property. The views were pretty good too. The toilets we clean and we got a very nice breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a typical Colombian Sunday-Afternoon destination run by a very friendly family. It’s a lunch and day-time spot, which closes at 7 pm. There is no racket during the day or at night, but traffic is still loud. Otherwise, a very tranquil experience. We were there on Friday and Saturday nights, very recommendable if you like to avoid the party scene. The owners are an older couple. They and their young daughter Maria Teresa are interested in accommodating overlanders. Big rigs can enter, it’s a little tight to maneuver around in there; two big rigs can fit inside, more in adjacent lot. No wifi when we were there, Maria Teresa understands the need and says she’ll work on it. Restaurant serves home-cooked wholesome food at a reasonable price, beers are a bit spendy, byo. Music in the restaurant, if any, is pleasant and at low volume.
