We stayed here for 5 nights (couldn't get enough!) There's an area by the water you can park for free. The wind is quiet in the morning and picks up in the afternoon. Great place to relax, enjoy beautiful sunsets, star gaze and watch the kite surfers. Bring firewood with you--it's a perfect place for campfires. Close to Vicuna and a small town (Gualliguaica) with a few shops. 👌

We wanted to sleep here but there are big rocks that block the entrance, we went on the road and went to the other spot.
Report Check-InOnly accessible for pedestrians or cyclists! The access roads are all blocked
Report Check-InStayed for one night but we definitely could stay more. Very nice place.
Lots of wind during the day and none during the night.
Beautiful sunset.
Some locals hanging around during the day, and some also camping at night.
There was some trash and toilet paper, as usual.
Nobody bothered us.
Now privat property. It is not possible to pass because of big stones and dirt wall.
Report Check-InWe stayed a beautiful night here and were almost ready for a second when someone of the Lake authority came and sent us off to a place further down the road. Only camp on the north side of the wall, not on the Lake side. So off we went. Not the most beautiful spot but spent a beautiful day at our first place.
Report Check-InBueatiful spot. We spent amazing quiet "New year's eve"- day. For four days alone and no one bothered us. (There is a sign that say "privat property, don't enter to swim" but after new year there were many people who camped near us. So no problem at all! We stayed left turn after the sign under the tree. jeah it's windy evey day after 10am just until sunset. but we kept out popup tent open all the time.
