We applied for our permit for Kel Suu here yesterday afternoon. It was ready today at 10h00. 1300 KGS per person. Bought a detailed map of the area as well for 500 KGS.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Very mixed… They speak English and are helpful but the price for the license and exorbitant. 30 euros for one person. We bought it anyway but if you can do it at Bishket. CBTs are a big business…
Report Check-InNice ladies working there, they arrange the (multiple) border permit in two days (3000som pp now for express). They can arrange for you to take a shower (300pp) and wash your laundry (350som/kg) at homestays in town. They have above-average coffee here as well (100som for Americano) and a some souvenirs.
Report Check-InI ordered the border permit for Kel-Suu online a week before (payment via PayPal). It was ready and stamped when I arrived there so I could continue cycling right away. The lady there als offered me to find a nice place to stay in Naryn at a discounted rate and let me use the bathroom. Good service!
Report Check-InWe went there in tje afternoon for a permit to go to Kol Suu. The have been very friendly. she called somebody, came back and said it's possible for tomorrow bit it will cost 30$ pp. We refused because that was to much just to go to the lake. Compared to what we read here it's more then double of the price. So no idea. But the place is still recommandable, the organized us a very nice Guesthouse in the town. So if the next one has more luck with the permit, just write it down. I'm also courious :-)
Report Check-Inignorant personal, i wait 1hour for document prepared before placed on the table
Report Check-InVery friendly and helpful. CBT arranged a permit for Chatyr Kol and Kol Suu within a couple hours. We applied at 16h and could pick it up the same evening. Valid for a week, longer is probably possible if you ask. Great advice on route-planning too. We paid 1000 som per permit. The souvenirshop next door sells permits for 800, don’t know about processing time.
Report Check-InWe bought the permit for 1000 som, and you can get rooms recommended. First they wanted 800som for the cheapest room, but that was too much for us, then we got one recommended for 500.
Report Check-InWe got our permit in 2 days for 1000 Som. In the beging the lady said it takes 4 days but at the end it took only 2 days. They have wifi, postcards, maps and souvenirs as well.
