ADMIN NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals. SIGNS POSTED
We stayed here for one night with 2 more campers, no problems, no sign 'no overnight camping'. We saw lots of whales in the evening and in the morning! Awesome quiet spot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There is a NO OVERNIGHT PARKING sign at the fence. Didn't sleep there, too risky...
Report Check-InBeautiful spot to watch whales !!
the sheriff came at 10pm and told us it was ok for this night but it’s usually a day use only.
As described, good place to spend a night, especially as all campgrounds we checked were fully booked. Clean bathroom w/ running water, trash boxes and picknick tables/benches. 4 other RVs/ campervans spent Friday night at this parking lot. Still no „no overnight“ sign and free. The best yet is the view with many whales, some of them incredible close to the shoreline. Best viewing during high tide. According to locals whales like this spot due to the fact that the sea gets very quickly very deep.
Report Check-InGreat free parking lot still! Enjoy it! Close to 101 but very quiet though
Report Check-InFree (but very windy!) camping at this viewpoint. Clean well maintained toilets and we even saw whales in the morning!
