Mexico
Great spot with free wifi, restaurants around and the lagoon in the front. We felt safe

They no longer allow camping on the main plaza - we spent one quiet night (lots of other campers, vans and RVs as well) but police came by the next day to let us know neighbours have been complaining about the amount of vans and RVs parking and that they even put up a notice on the local newspaper saying parking is no longer allowed here. They were really nice about it but said they are now starting to kick people out and will tow any vehicles left behind. So, goodbye free wifi! We had to move elsewhere...
Report Check-InSlept here one night with no issue, other RVers were with us. Quiet (even on a friday) and we felt totally safe.
Report Check-InWe spend almost a week camping in the street next to Mango chile restaurant. Free water connection. WiFi of this vegan restaurant is bacalar1. I really recommend to try the food specially classic burger and chocolate malteada. I'm far from being vegan but this place is really good. price a little high.
Report Check-InWe spent one night next to the Mango y Chile restaurant. You can even reach their wifi signal. Felt safe. There is a water hook next to the restaurant building. Garbage truck came by during the night, except for that, very calm. The workers at the fortress asked us to move when they opened.
