Latest Check-Ins

Illegal parking from 2am to 4am. Cop said it is being enforced.

Report Check-In

Parked here for the night anyway, despite the signs that say no parking from 2am-4am. There were about 10-15 vans/RVs along this stretch so I assumed I'd be fine. Nope. Woke up with a $75 fine on my windshield. They're definitely enforcing it- just walking down the line and ticketing everyone.

Report Check-In

sign no parking 12:00am - 2:00am 😔

Report Check-In

They just added no parking 12-2am signs up all along Zuma Beach :(

Report Check-In

Very noise, with a amazing view, so it's a good option if you are looking for a free overnight option. When I was there, there was a lot of other huge RVs and cars.

Report Check-In

Street parking parallel to the beach. Northern bathroom open, others locked. Chill beach access, several other rigs. Parking could be tight on weekends and after 9AM.

Report Check-In

Great spot! Had police come by writing down number plates. They told us there is a 72 hour limit on this stretch due to residents complaining of the perminate dwellers. So at least you c as n have a afew days surf without problems :)

Report Check-In

Direkt am Highway und daher relativ laut. Trotzdem hatte wir eine entspannte Nacht und schönen Sunset. Keine Polizei oder ähnliche Störer.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for three nights without any problems.
Just note that there’s a sign as you enter the district which says that sleeping in vehicles isn’t allowed within Malibu.
Anyways there are lots of RVs parked all along the beach many of them don’t even move for several days. We really enjoyed this place just make sure to park as far away from the road as you can.

Report Check-In

Police came at 10pm to check on every single car/rv but didn't say anything about no overnight stay, they just told us to lock the doors and stay safe. No one left so I guess it's ok to stay for a few nights if you want to enjoy the beach ;)

Report Check-In

Free roadside parking along Zuma beach with restrooms (closed at night) and outside showers and drinking fountains.

Report Check-In

Roadside between highway 1 and beach parking lot. Free, a lot of van, no one bothered us and felt safe, noisy the whole night, better with earplugs!

Report Check-In

Updated coordinates. Currently point you to an end of the beach all alone, we found this end to be full of other overlanders so felt far more confortable

Report Check-In

park on the highway 1 roadside (its legal) not in the parking lot. the parking lot has a fee.
no overnight parking. must leave parking lot by 8pm and roadside by 10pm. though the officer i spoke to said some cops ignore it if parked roadside.
very nice place to spend the day and freshen up. i got lucky and swam with dolphins!

Report Check-In

Parking along the beach and aside the Hwy 1. Not the quietest place in the world and every time a car is passing, our van is shaking. But it's like being on a boat. At least you have access to beach showers, water and toilets until 8.00 pm.
