Description
A lovely little town, just an hour outside of Mexico City. Very Artsy, with some beautiful clay studios, you can actually see some of the art work decorating the town houses. Very unique style (see photos). Several dining options, but best to go to the market on Monday - tons of options of very authentic Mexican food made for the locals. One hour from a very beautiful and easy hike to a Volcano named Nevado de Toluca with two beautiful lakes in the crater.
