Hotel us currently closed as noted Google maps as well as a sign on the door. No info as to when it will reopen but I'm guessing it's closed due to low tourism during covid

As described restaurant is really good. Good spot to come with your van or truck camper. No big rigs though. We ordered some food and parked for the nigh.

the place is as described by others, very annoying that no one has added the price of the rooms here, they are not cheap, the cheapest room is 650 lempira the next cheapest is 750 per tonight. lovely people and a lovely place would still recommend at these prices

Très bel endroit mais un peu cher pour un dry camp.. 300L pour 2..
Les propriétaires sont très charmants, si vous souhaitez réserver une rando à la Montana Santa Barbara, on téléphonera au guide pour vous , super !
Location Kayak 50L/p très agréable !

Great place to stay right by the lake. Camping, cabaña or room . Decided to take a room after several days of heavy rain campground was very wet and muddy.
Great restaurant with very good fish ‚de la casa‘ !
Very nice hosts.
Highly recommend!

A great place to stay. It’s in a stunning location on the lake. Super friendly staff. Nice little restaurant if you don’t want to cook. Amazing for bird-watching (we saw humming birds, mot-mots, herons (various), toucan, woodpecker, jacana lots of little yellow ones, black and yellow ones and so many others that are hard to describe and whose names I still need to find out). Then if you haven’t seen enough take one of the kayaks out into the lake to see more wildlife or ask in the restaurant whether Leonel Chavez (one of the guy’s dad) is available to guide. He takes walks into the Montaña Santa Bárbara from La Cedra (above Las Vegas) and will show you quetzals and many other birds. He is an amazing ornithologist and a conservationist. Highly recommended. For two of us it cost C$500 and was worth every centava!

Really nice hotel / restaurant by the lake, owned by friendly people.
They rent cabanas, but we were allowed to stay there with our campervan (we paid 150L per night). They opened a cabana for us to give us access to shower and restroom.
The restaurant is really good, and serves fish from the lake.
Good Wifi.
From there, you can take a small boat and go see plenty of birds on the lake.
