Mexico
Camp site and various forms of accommodations from pre-erected tents with full size double beds to cabanas to beach house for 8 (and 2 halves) all tucked away in the palm trees on the beach with plenty of room for tents and smallish rigs (but not for large RV's due to the palm trees). hot showers, kitchen, fridge, Myan fire pit, hammocks and fresh coffee every morning. Restaurants along the beach and a few small shops (but fill up with water (40 pesos for 20 litres). 50 pesos a person for our roof tent, same for pitching your own tent round the back, 100 per person on the beach or 200 per person if tent and bedding provided. Nice walk up to the Black Lagoon. Worth the drive down (2 hours for 50k on a bumpy often waterlogged road) if you are staying a few days.

We don’t felt welcomed, we arrived very late and found an unfriendly woman at the reception. We needed space for a 20 ft van and a little tent, but own tent isn’t possible. She offered a pre-erected tent for 1500 Mex for 2 persons a night, plus 500 pP for the people in the van. To expensive, not really a good site for the van, we left.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for four nights and felt very safe. The old lady is friendly. All in all we had to say it isn't worth to drive this horrible way to Punta Allen. The road consists only of holes and the beach is full of plastic and seaweed. The best expierence was the mangrove Tour, we saw tourtles, delphins etc.
Report Check-InA very nice, quiet, relaxing place, very near its own beach. Outdoor kitchen, washing machine available, but you can also easily wash by hand.
Friendly American/Mexican owner
Not suitable for big riggs. But cars, ordinary motor homes and tents are welcome. Pets , too.
charging 300 per person to camp with our suv and roof tent. Got a nice clean room for the same price.
Report Check-InNice place but a little bit overpriced. We paid 500 pesos for the whole family. Nice campspots and it's just 20 meters from the beach. Hot showers and for us a perfect place to camp with 3 children.
Report Check-InVery bad road coming in took 3 hours to drive 4x4, for 40km feels like forever. Unexpected surprise though 35 km in which is a small beachy town. Serenidad is at the end of the town. Its got places to park and hitch tents either on or near the beach. Paid 750 pesos for 2 rooftop tents for 3 nights within 2 mins walking to the beach. It has hammocks, showers, internet, myan firepit, bathrooms, electricity, beach cabanas . Well worth it if you are gonna stay a few days. Also english speaking receiponist. Pros : limited internet and smell from the beach which is seagrass.
