Several campers of all types on the far side of lot. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Clean stocked restrooms.

I've never seen anything like it - so many campers - thank you Walmart this is a tough location. I wonder if this is the most reviewed spot on ioverlander?

Thank you Walmart!
Someone did leave an entire bag of garbage… someone up parked on the grass… people unattached and left trailers.. we need to do better or we’re going to lose this Walmart as an option.

As described before….stayed farthest west corner of the parking lot with quite a few others….was quite by 9pm….was a good safe stay.

Very good Walmart. Have stayed here with at least 20 other campers. Very quiet no signs to be seen. Highly recommended.

Good WalMart. Lots of other camper vehicles spread out nicely. We're class B Promaster. Thank you WalMart for letting us stay here and all the other WalMarts we stay at. We shop here and use the toilet. Very, very grateful.

Busiest Walmart we've ever stayed at but relatively quiet overnight. Good location for exploring Acadia park. Surprised Walmart still allows overnight parking here.

Large carpark- lots of rvs overnight. Fantastic jumping off spot for Bar Harbour and Acadia NP. Walmart closes at 11pm. Quiet at night.

Huge Walmart - lots of RVs overnight. Wifi in parking lot. Store closes at 11pm. Great place from which to explore Bar Harbour, Acadia NP and surrounds. Quiet.

Not sure why the other location is listed as closed as it is not far from these coords?

Tons of other rvs here quiet place for the night. Nobody bothered us. There was a lot of litter in the section. Of the lot where rvs were parked. Please take your trash with you when you leave or use the garbage cans outside of the store.

Great place to crash for the night. Hard to find these places this far east, most have posted signs but this location is good for all.

Bunch of other RV, Van, Cars. Let’s all do our part keeping the place clean. Too good of a spot to spoil

Stayed in lot on the grocery side with roughly 8 other Van's, rvs, and cars. Little road noise but other than that it was quiet. Stayed 2 nights. Did not need to check with management.

Updating that this Walmart still seems ok. Parked in the right side of lot when facing the store along with about a dozen other cars. Didn’t see any RVs though

Not noisy. Felt safe

T-Mobile 3 bars and good

Quiet safe place to stay the night. There were a lot of other vans, buses & rvs. Everyone typically parked in the back right corner of the lot.

Typical Walmart. Stayed one night at the start of our Acadia trip and one night at the end after our reservation at Blackwoods in Acadia ended. Didn’t ask permission either time but we were fine, no issues. Many other vans, RVs, and trailers also stayed overnight. Very busy and popular spot. Would definitely stay again.

Nice updated Walmart with clean bathrooms. On the weekend it’s like a van meet definitely camper friendly here. Pretty quiet as well.

Safe and convenient. The crew left at 2am in their hotrods, super loud, only to be followed by the leaf blower man starting at 3am. Other than that... good cell reception, and a very well stocked Walmart.

Awesome spot, tons of campers and trailers. Very conveniently located just 30 minutes from Acadia. Stayed there for 3 days.

I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the area. Nice Walmart, some green space for the pups. The store was clean and organized on the days I went in to shop. Friendly campers that all seemed to be courteous.
I didn’t experience any night sweepers, but the landscaper starts at 0600 on Saturday morning. I would not park up against any grassy areas if you’re coming on a Friday night in the summer.
A lot of RV’s running their generators, as well, so if you run off only solar, I’d stay away from where that group tends to cluster.

felt v safe and comfortable. street sweeper around 10pm, so not too late. lots and lots of other cool van conversions/rv’s. stayed 3 good nights.

One of the noisiest spots I’ve stayed in unfortunately. Had to move due to a group of guys parking their loud trucks next to me around 10:30. They’re doing construction on this Walmart right now and they started some of it around 11pm. I was closer to the building since I had to move so try to stay far away if you can to reduce the noise.

As described. Clean, mostly quiet (street cleaner @2am), right side has less street noise. Many other vans, campers, and live-in cars. Would stay again.

Easy parking. Bit of road noise on the left side so I'd do the right. Street sweeper idled for an hour at 2am near us. Several other cars, vans, and RVs in the lot with us.

Definitely seems like the place to be for vans and RV! Spent one night here with at least 20 other overlanders. No issues and slept great. Save yourself some money by staying here while visiting Acadia NP.

this Walmart parking lot is big, clean and quiet enough to stay the night. there is a deli inside and large clean bathrooms. close to Arcadia NP.

Plenty of RV’s & vans staying overnight. Safe and quiet. Can easily stay a few nights whilst visiting Acadia NP which is 30 mins away.

They still allow overnight parking. Very friendly people working here at Walmart. Most quiet spot: in front of the Auto Center. Enjoy ;-)

Mid week several other campers here. Walmart standard, but quiet and with a nice green grassy strip right off the garden center. Bathroom available 6am to midnight.

We came to this spot after visiting Acadia NP all day. Because we are here in offseason most of the camping is closed. Very friendly and safe walmart. There were a few RV’s and trailers also camping in the lot. Clean restrooms.
