Something not right?

Description

I loved it. Much nicer than originally described::: Nothing here except a chance for a bit of shelter out of the raging gale. House is now guarded by a nice fisherman when we were there.

Latest Check-Ins

This is no longer "wild camping" the house is now guarded by a fisher who invited us for coffee and at the end we could sleep in the house. Owner wants to renovate it!

Wonderful spot. Flat, much room, away from road enough with lake view to enjoy. Spent my 1st night in rental here to get acquainted with the rig, perfect location with nearby Punta Arenas for temp-buildout supplies I need.

it's all locked up, except an open room on the end that is fairly open. one section seemed a bit more lived in. we didn't stay

Report Check-In

I can confirm that the hostel is abandoned. I stayed in the storage room for a night. No problem.

Nice little spot if you have nice weather. We came when it was freezing and damp, but the night sky was worth it. Plenty of room for a few rigs, we were three. A bit of trash and not much shelter. There is a fire ring and some bushes. Please remember to clean to your trash. We headed just to the left down to the water and found a lakeside grassy clearing. Lot's of animal bones. Kinda cool.

Report Check-In

Same state as mentioned before. Good wind shelter and nice view of the lake. Not much else.

Report Check-In

Still in the same state as described by previous post. If heading south Parque Chacabucco 20km north of Punta Arenas is the better option.

Report Check-In

Nothing here except a chance for a bit of shelter out of the raging gale. House was deserted when we were there.
