Beautiful turquoise river. Crystal clear water. Cold but not freezing. Dogs allowed "on leash". No Camping any time of year, but plenty of other places to camp like Child's Verde River near by. Lots of small falls and swimming holes on the way to the bigger fall and large swimming area. Total hike one way is an easy 1 mile. Parking Permit is required April 1st - October 1st and besides the area where Childs camp is in you can't camp during those dates either. Clean pit toilets.
