spectacular campsite with amazing views. large well kept lawns to camp on, loads of wild life. no hot water and no wifi. only bad thing is the price at 19000 for 2 including entry to the park.

Report Check-In

7000 pesos for the night (not per person) and 6000 pesos for the entry of the park. One site is open at 6 km after the entry of the park. Nice and wide space with grass and trees to park the car or set a tent. Drinkable water, toilets, cold shower, small shop and natural pool. Most of the trails are closed due to the forest fires but might change in the futur.

Arrived late from using google maps which took us to the other side of the canyon. don't use google, use maps me instead (or follow signs ;)) . Park was closed to overnight camping as it doesn't open until January, but we had no place to go and ranger took pity on us and let us stay for one night. We could have also stayed by the registration building parking lot, but drove the 6km dirt track back to the campsite. Photos cannot capture how beautiful this place is. Wonderful grounds, bathrooms good, and a stunning sunset on the canyon walls, with snow capped mountains in the distance. Saw two foxes in the grounds while there too.

Indeed a nice campground. Unfortunately it is not allowed anymore to make any sort of fire (neither wood or coal) Cooking is allowed only with gas. The water is filtered (rainwater) but not treated in any other way. But they say it is safe for drinking.

Stayed here for two nights arriving on Sunday afternoon, very beautiful landscapes nestled between the mountains. Make sure you arrive at the front gate before 5:30 as the gate is closed. Rangers were very helpful. 5000 entrance fee per person and 2500 per night per person camping. Only a couple other campers the two nights we were there. Cold showers, flushing toilets, wash basins, picnic tables to camp next to. Running stream with swimming pools next to the camp site. Lots of nice hikes to do as well.

Very nice campingspot. Nice rangers. Little swimmingspot in river. 5000/campingplace.

Spent 2 nights here. Great value for families in a beautiful national park. Buy an annual pass in Rancagua (they do not sell them at the Conaf office at the park gate). Nightly fee is $5000clp. Services as mentioned below. Big rig friendly though some hanging branches above 2.5m so expect minor scrapes on your rig, nothing damaging. If you do not have an annual pass, it's an extra park entrance fee of $5000 per adult and $2500 per child but we were not charged as we wanted to buy an annual pass and I guess the lady trusted us that we would once we got back to Rancagua.

Same price and facilities. In summer there is a kiosk on the campground (probably only open during weekend) that sells bread, drinks, etc. There are many people in the weekend, but there is more than enough space for many cars/big rigs/tents. On Sunday, the place turns very quiet. Beautifull place and trekkings.

Gorgeous spot when quiet (we got the place to ourselves is perfect weather). A big campground overlooked by snowcapped mountains. The road from the CONAF office is rough but passable with a 2wd. Campground is about 5km in. Firepits, cold showers, picnic tables and running water. Swimming nearby for summer visitors. 5000 a night +entry fee if you don't have a CONAF pass.
