These two brothers have been recommended by a local Volkswagen parts dealer and we were so happy to finally find a trustworthy mechanic around La Paz. They work on all types of cars but are experts in (old) Volkswagen. There might not be space in there workshop for big rigs but the whole neighborhood seems to be super quiet and safe and they would definitely have no problem with working on your camper on the street. It's a blue rusty gate without any sign. Next to it there is a sign that says " bordados" and you will probably see their cars in front of the gate, a beetle and a VW Bus, both white and well maintained.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We've been there for a oil leak, they also found a problem with the direction. We arrived on a thusday, and time to fix everything and counting the weekend, we could leave only on the next Monday. They are welcoming, (we could use there toilets and water) professional, but their working cost is a bit expensive... 450 Bob only for the working time, and then we had to pay more to fix the pieces. Finally, after a few day on the roaf again, the oil leak is still here, and the direction is getting bad again....
