Tried to go and it was closed. There was mail from several weeks ago stuck to the door. Pandemic has closed a lot of places in Sucre.

The name of the hostel is currently EGIL B&B QUECHUA.
Paid 98bob a couple for a double room with private bathroom.
A friend paid 75 bob for a single. Parking for free.
Atmosphere:
Upon our arrival at midday there was no one at the reception to do check in and we had to wait for two hours, luckily we could enter with our motorcycles because the gate was open. Then a guy showed up, his name is Fabian he had an unfriendly and rude attitude, he provided no information, gave us the key and disappeared.
During our stay we became friends with other travelers and wanted to play badminton in the garden all together and politely asked Fabian for permission, he rudely replied that this is a public space plus not everyone wanted to play. He started to act unreasonably and aggressively, insulting us. We called the owner who said to be sorry for Fabian’s behavior, he mentioned there had been many complaints but he would speak with Fabian. So he did, however, it upset Fabian even more and he wouldn’t stop insulting us. The next day Fabian was acting normal and during our stay he had several unstable episodes, we actually think he may be on drugs.
The place is awesome, the location is great, 4 blocks from the main square, it has a cozy garden, place for parking a vehicle, cute terrace with chairs, a kitchen that is equipped right enough to cook, and a lot of potential nevertheless the unacceptable behavior of the staff makes it impossible to enjoy 100%. What a pity.

we went there for 1 night, and the receptionist looked annoyed to receive us. we were nor sure to stay 1 or 2 night, so we payed for 2 nights and we changed our mind, he didn't want to give the money back of the second night. also the price on booking its cheeper than the price on the hostel, and he didnt want to do this price. the receptionist and vibes were very bad... even if the garden its cool, don't go there!

I'm not saying it's great, because it isn't, but it's pretty much the latin america average of disrepair and dirt. It is cheap, well located and offer parking, so perfect for overlanders!
The breakfast is between 8 and 10 but make sure to be there at 8, because they make a bunch of breakfast at that time. By 10, there was a bunch of cold plates crawling with ants...

Its ok if youre not a cleaness maniac hahahahaahhs, they gotta a problem with the sewer i guess,or something cos everytime you take a shower it floods. Anyway, the beds are clean.
Liked the patio with loan to chill...

Grassy area to park car. Conveniently located. Double room with shared bath 80BOB. Disgusting toilets and showers (cold) . Simple breakfast and disorganised staff. Intermittent wifi

Didn't enjoy the place as much! not well managed: dirty toilets, a lot of rubbish, men burning plastic in front of our car and if you want to get in from outside you always have to ring the bell several times and hope some other hostel guest will open the door for you.
Still it was cheap (25bol if you sleep in the car) and close to the center.

Great location! Nice complex with a nice garden. Paid 25 bob / tent with breakfast. Kitchen and banos very clean. Wifi is very fast! The breakfast is inexistant. Avoid taken it! The staff and the boss are really friendly. There is a good atmosphere. However there is a group of Working-away making a lot of noise till 2am and playing fireballs next to the tents. Not that cool! Apart from that i surely recommend for those with tight budget!

Nice and quite hostel with a big garden and sunny terrace. Breakfast included. Very nice staff and owners! We loved it! Bed from Bob 35.

Double for 110. Wonderful spot. BIG PARKING. Lots of room. Friendly new owner. Yes, could be run better, sure, but the price is good, the owner is great and it has hot shower, alright wifi for facebooking, big kitchen.

Has amazing potential.......however. New owners. Cold dirty showers, teeny toilets. poor customer service. Cars can be parked inside and pay for dorm room 37 bobs. Double 178 bobs. Kitchen is filthy. Breakfast poor effort. It’s cheap and has parking!

Hostel with a large garden to park many cars or motor bikes. 10 drom 33bob. single room 55bob. most of the rooms are doubls or twins. basic breakfast of bread and jam. small kitchen.
