We were turned away with our L300 for being too big - tried to tell the lady that this van had stayed there before, but she was having none of it.

We parked here for a week and stayed in the van 3 nights. It is tight to get in but we are in a 2.5m wide Transit and just fit through! The lady is friendly and helped us reserve a tour to Uros Islands with private pick up. We used the shower and it was hot with good pressure. She has two friendly dogs and a cat, wifi, and we could fill up our water.

Good safe place to camp after Bolivia border. Paid 10 sole for 2 people and campervan. Entrance is very tight but we fitted through with our Mitsubishi L300. Booked a tour with the hotel the following morning to see Uros islands- 25 sole each.

We spent 10 days here in the hostel parking lot. The family is very kind and welcomed us very well. The value still remains $10 soles. We use water and wi-fi at will. The shower costs an extra $7 soles per person, and the shower is wonderful, plenty of water with plenty of pressure and a stable temperature according to you like. For laundry they charge $8 soles per kg, also impeccable service. Here we also took the floating islands tour, we paid $25 soles per person and they pick you up at the hotel. Very quiet place, we left the Kombi parked and went to the center several times by public transport that passes right outside the hotel and costs $1 soles. I highly recommend it, it is an excellent option, super economical in the city.

Passamos 10 dias aqui no estacionamento do hostel. A família é muito amável e nos recebeu muito bem. O valor ainda permanece $10 soles. Usamos água e wi-fi a vontade. A ducha tem um custo extra de $ 7 soles por pessoa, e o chuveiro é maravilhoso, água em abundância com bastante pressão e temperatura estável conforme regulagem. Para lavanderia eles cobram $8 soles por kg, serviço também impecável. Aqui também fizemos o passeio das ilhas flutuantes, pagamos $25 soles por pessoa e eles vem buscar no hotel. Local muito tranquilo, deixamos a Kombi estacionada no pátio e fomos até o centro por diversas vezes de transporte público que passa bem na porta do hotel e custa $1 soles. Super recomendo, é uma excelente opção, super econômica na cidade.

tight fit but no problem with our minivan. friendly people, paid 10 soles for the night. next day we left our van and visited puno with public transport. No extra cost for keeping our van safe during the day

many comment said it's not safe on the streets so we rolled into the parking lot of the hotel and even met with other overlanders. really nice and helpful staff

Sprinter. Didn’t fit. Maybe if I tried very hard, but way to risky for some big scratches and dents. Otherwise place is ideal. Toyota Tacoma (I believe) fit in there.

Really nice people! We stayed there for two days. We paid 10s the night and we could use internet, electricity and they even invited us with tea. Showers are clean and hot and they cost 5s. We felt very safe, we even left the van several times to walk around the city. We super recommend this place.

Nos duchamos por 5S, ducha bien caliente. Pudimos usar el wifi y el baño libremente. Nos permitieron parquear al frente del hotel sin costo porque nuestra camioneta con camper no entra en el estacionamiento. Súper recomendable. El staff muy amable, hasta nos llevaron al centro en su auto!
También cargamos agua potable en nuestras botellas.

Not the nicest looking place, but cheap and good. 10per van, free for tents, an additional 5pp for hot shower. Clean bathrooms, no tp. Doors to bathroom still locked from 10pm to 6am. Ok WiFi . 50 for a double room, 5 for breakfast. 5 to leave van overnight, if going to an island. Entrance to parking lot pretty hard for big vans and not big enough for big rigs, you can park in front of the hotel though. They rent bikes, and they can also call you a taxi if going to muelle or center.

The first night was free to contact us with Juan Carlos for couchsurfing.
Then we pay 10 soles per night to park in your closed and safe yard. We sleep in the car. They give you access to the bathroom and the living rooms.
If you want shower or breakfast you can pay separately.
Very helpful staff.

La primera noche fue gratis por contactarnos con Juan Carlos por couchsurfing.
Luego pagamos 10 soles por noche para estacionar en su patio cerrado y seguro. Dormimos en el auto. Te dan acceso al baño y las salas de estar.
Si quieres ducha o desayuno puedes abonar aparte.
Muy servicial el personal.

Insanely tight manoeuvres through laneway and poorly placed poles to get in. We tried from both west and east lanes and could not make it in our ford F-150. If you do make it, it’s a mud pit after rains, but cheap.

We spend 10 days here... we asked to plug our electricity and they charge plus 5 soles( big extension)... price is the same others are telling... shower is good and hot! We paid the adventure to uros Island with them and works everything pretty good, 100 soles, 3 islands, 1 night at one island with all food included... The tourism is not the greatest one, but for the price was a very interesting journey.

Nice and quite place to camp, we camped in the garden for 5 soles/night/tent, acces to the toillet all night long, you can take a hot shower for 5 soles.

We slept here 2 nights and let the car at the parking lot to do the amazing island tour. Very friendly people. The reception is 24h open. 10SOL/night (2+van), 5SOL/person extra for shower. Recommended.

I tented here for 3 nights. Well, the space is good. The hostel staff is friendly and they got me a deal to visit the Uros' islands and Taquile for 40 soles with lunch and entrances. They also let me use the fridge. But, they charge 5 soles for a hot shower. They also close the access to bathrooms between 22 and 6. It might be possible to wake up the night guy but still.

We stayed here one night for S5 plus S5 for each shower. The showers are great and well worth it!
The WiFi was super fast but signal was weak in the camping area.
Access to the camping is a bit tricky - only for cars and smaller vans. For us, getting in was easier then getting out.

We didn't dare try to fit through the small street and gate with our van. We parked outside and used the facilities for 5 soles pp, safe but not the quietest night. WiFi was surprisingly fast!

The camping spot is not pretty, but sure is a good value. It's very secure, there's an indoor place to hang out with library,  couch and pool table, very friendly staff (even gave us free coffee/tea each morning), cute dogs, decent wifi (now reaches to the camping area), and fantastic hot showers (worth the 5 soles extra). Highly recommended! Our full size Tacoma pickup fit through the gate.

Great hostal. As mentioned, possibility to stay in the parking lot (5 soles): some dogs around, some light but not a problem. Showers are hot and very clean (5 soles), and breakfast are decent (especially for 5 soles). Extremely good value. Possible to stay in the lobby to use the wifi (does not reach the parking lot) until around 10pm. Then they close the back door and the toilets are not accessible during the night. However, since their parking lot seems to attract many overlanders, the owner is seriously thinking of building a bathroom and a kitchen in the parking lot. Very friendly owner! Possible to pitch some tents

great place to stop in Puno. 5 soles per car and 5 soles shower each person. good WiFi, good hot showers, toilet downstairs. We parked at the back, we stayed 2 nights. Juan Carlos is really kind and friendly, and loves to speak about Puno s culture. if you like, they serve breakfast 5 soles. if you travel by bicycle, contact him because he offers accomodation and shower for free :)

Great place in town. No height restrictions, and even the ~2.3m width wouldn't be so bad if there also wasn't a lamp post in the way. Takes some manoeuvering to get around.
I thought my tiny cab Tacoma with slide-in camper was pretty tight, but later a wider and longer 1975 Chevy truck with rooftop tent made it in with only a minor scratch on the bumper. I stand corrected.
Nice location to center, decent internet, super hot shower, S/.5 PP and per shower.
Very welcoming owner, also speaks English and German. I also booked my Island tour through them. Good deal.

Asked to stay one night in front of the hotel, no problem. It is not really quiet but safe and ok for one night. Wifi (SSID/Key) "PACHAGROUP/pachagroup" and "PACHAGROUP2/pachagroup2" - hard to find out ;-)

Great stop in Puno. We parked in the back of the hotel (only small rigs) took an amazing HOT shower (if you are coming from Bolivia this is heaven!)and is 5min from the center by bus (0,60s pp). You can use reception bathrooms.
Charged us 5s for the car and 5s each shower, great deal. We stayed to nights, very quiet. We also left the bus here while went to visit the islands, super safe.

Entry through the bottoms, narrow and there is a post disturbing. I believe that, at most, only kombi. But Juan Carlos, administrator, allowed him to stay in front of the hostel. Two quiet days and well attended, and did not charge anything.

Nos duchamos los dos por 10 soles. Pudimos usar electricidad y Internet. La gente es muy amable. Tienen garaje para autos y reciben a overlanders. Recomendamos. Los baños son bien limpios.

Estacionamento dentro do hotel, fechado com portão super seguro. Ideal para carros pequenos (vw kombi, campers) oferece ducha e Wi-Fi, 10 soles o carro por dia. Tem espaço para bicicleta e barracas sem custo. Procurar por Juan Carlos proprietário, são bem atenciosos.
