Off 93 follow signs to Hoover dam. Good size parking lot overlooking Lake Mead. Free. No restrooms/facilities. we were the only overnight vehicle (almost to quiet). 7:00am tour bus and garbage truck pulled in but left right away. vanlife. @rividog
Report Check-Instayed here for many nights in a row. no signs prohibiting overnight parking. gets busy during daylight hours. best to arrive at dusk. dumpster available but lots of 'yayhoo' loud and rowdy tourists each morning... sometimes at night.
Report Check-InImpossible d'y dormir. On s'est fait virer dans la soirée. Le ranger, très aimable, nous a envoyé sur le parking du casino 2 kms plus loin, où nous avons passé une bonne nuit.
Report Check-InNice location with views of the lake. One other RV was camping here (we have an RV, too). The police came and told us to drive to the Hoover Dam Lodge to sleep there. You might be luckier than us so you could try to sleep here but you should be prepared to change your location.
Report Check-InFine for a night, especially if you’re getting in late. Empty parking lot at a beautiful overlook. Dumpsters but no other amenities. Started getting very loud early, car playing music at 5am then a tour bus pulled up around 7am. Sleep with earplugs and you’ll be good to go.
Report Check-InCalled Lakeshore viewpoint on the sign. Slept overnight in a minivan with no real issues, though there were a couple of cars that came up and played loud music, then a garbage truck came for the dumpster at 6am. It was also very hot and there was strong wind because it's so unprotected, but it was pretty good for a night! Great views.
