Temporarily closed for Covid. However the guide from the dam called so they let us in for a small tour though we weren't allowed in the main garden. Still interesting story.

very interesting project to protect and save endangered species after the dam construction. Guided tour very recommended. You will discovered the very beautiful endemic spiraled aloe and the 6 others aloes that can be found in Lestho.
30 M/p combined with Dam guided tour.

Report Check-InVery nice wander around the gardens and great to hear about the work they do from one if the guys working there. The nursery section is interesting in that the seedlings are all propagated from original plants rescued from the dam catchment area and are planted back into the gardens, given to locals and sometimes sold. R30 includes the dam tour. Very good value.
Report Check-InIt was a bit dissapointed. It is like a big gardening shop not like a botanical garden. Not very well maintained and just the plants with signs. Hm ... but we were in winter, may be in summer it is nicer.
