we spent 2 nights in this little campeground. the toilets are ok, but no paper. the river is just byside, but a fence separates the river from the campsite. the neighbour is the canoe club. but thy informed us, that the river is a bit tricky, so you can only go 1-2 km against the current. in this time, the river flows very fast (5-7 km/h) ....

Report Check-In

We spent 3 nights at this excellent campsite. there is even hot water for washing dishes and peace and quiet too!
Lots of things to visit in this city.

Report Check-In

Lovely camping! Super quiet when we were there, not a huge barbecue area but pristine toilets and hot showers. WiFi isn’t great but it is a nice small camping in a really quaint town. Gaiman itself is definitely worth a visit! We paid 2000 ARS for the car (a one off) and 2000 ARS per person, per night.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite in a little town, we payed 6.000 per night (2 People and a Motorhome) electricity available, grills are on site, showers hot and clean. Not far from restaurants and bakeries. There is a nice Bar on the top of a little hill, Catus and a very nice Panadería (on the main street) which we can totally recommend.

Report Check-In

It's a nice, small and cheap camp.
We paid 1400 pesos for 2 people + 1 car + 1 tent.
Nice bathrooms, hot shower, electricity on every site and good wifi. Very hospitable firemen as well.
Only 2 downsides: 1) There's a lamppost on every site and the night is ON all night, not negotiable. Bring your shades. 2) The camp is by the river, so expect more mosquitoes than usual.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

'Nice' is an overused word in the reviews here that made my arrival a disappointing experience.

The staff are friendly and laid back and the location is close to the centre in a quiet part of town, spoilt by the two barking dogs caged near the entrance.

The area is around 40 or 50 metres square with unemptied trash cans and cigarette butts on the ground. The place is a little neglected and reminds me of a scrap yard.

There are two or three cats here that sometimes fight in the night and might try to molest your tent.

There is plenty of tree shade and electric points around the sandy areas of the parillas. The grassy area has less shade and has sprinklers going in the day time.

On windy days, sand blows around and into the tent covering everything in dust.

Saturday is party night and since its a small site people will make right next to your pitch. People trod on my lines a few times during the early hours.

There was no WiFi signal away from reception.

The toilets are basic with a broken fixtures and unemptied paper buckets. Toilet paper was available in one cubical.
The showers are hot and reasonably presentable, old and tired looking but fairly clean.

The place needs a bit of care to make it 'Nice.'

Even so, for 150 a night for solo moto and tent it's cheap and fair value, at least in the week.

Report Check-In

Found this place fine by walking down the road. Prices have now gone up to 120 pesos per person, we didn't stay here but looks like a nice campsite. The lady at the guarda was very friendly and helpful

Report Check-In

Baños out of order. Thus we paid nothing. BBQ, tables, water and electricity. Dustbins full. Safe place next to the firefighters. Near centro with supermarkets and restaurants.

campsite is not well maintained. showers were hot. WiFi is not working. 50 pesos per person. we only stayed one night. second night we stayed at the tourist information

Report Check-In

scrap yard camping Great after calm Valdes now 50 pesos

Report Check-In

Nice place, but bathrooms were super dirty and wifi didn't work because of the wind. The showers were really hot and no one charged us extra. There are places to make fire, and a lot of light around at night. If the bathrooms were clean, would have been a really nice and quiet place. Still recommend.

Report Check-In

Backyard of the bombero station, full of rubbish and remains of old cars. Toilets and showers have not been cleaned in a loooong time. Trash cans overfilled. Water is not hot. The lady at the entrance would not give us the key to the wifi, claiming they had none. Two dogs living in cages in their own sh.... . Many friendly cats. Not recommendable. At all. Just now? Gaiman as a city not worth a trip.

Report Check-In

Auf der Route ein guter Übernachtungsplatz. Im Ort lohnenswert ist es, in einem der walisischen Teehäuser gut schmeckenden Tee zu trinken und selbst hergestelltes Brot und Kuchen zu essen.

Report Check-In

50 Peso for a adult. Kids are free. Campingvan included. Bbq and electricity available. Showers are hot all the time. The Campingground is not big. The bombero "Daniel" showed us and the kids the firestation for free. Very nice guy. Next to the station is a very good and cheap laundry. Next to the station is a playgrpund for kids.

Report Check-In

We stayed here five nights and really liked it here. It's quiet, the showers are hot and clean and the wifi is rather decent. Also there is a beautiful cat that we named Bess who comes to visit lots. 40 pesos per person per night.

Report Check-In

A small yard out the back of the Bomberos station, backing onto the river. Fogons and lots of trees. Good lighting at night, and potable water in the clean bathroom block. 40pp per night and 10 pesos more for a hot shower. It's not the prettiest, but a good place to stay when visiting the sights of this historic welsh town. We didn't do the traditional afternoon tea at any of the casas de tea, but did partake in the many delicious baked treats available at the panderias :) yum!

Report Check-In

Really good value for the money. All day hot water and clean bathrooms. Don't expect a resort (there's a lot of rubbish) but everything works.
There's a cool cat.

Report Check-In

Just arrived and told they are closed. No other information

Report Check-In

The showers here are hot and with good pressure. Quiet night.

Report Check-In

Good location in town, wind coverage and priced at what it is worth. 30 pesos each, power, shade, very clean hot showers, fire pit and tables. A little dusty and not very scenic, but not a bad place to escape the wind and shower up. Oh, and have some proper English tea.

Report Check-In

Nice little campground of the volunteer firefighters. Very quiet on a saturday evening! Very clean bathrooms with hot showers (open all day!). BBQ and Power at site. We paid 30 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Ok campsite in Gaiman with easy walking for Welsh cream teas. Good value at 30 pesos per person, children free.

Report Check-In

Camping of the volunteer firefighters from Gaiman. It is located above the river. Many picnic tables, benches and grills. Simple bathrooms, but very clean with hot showers.

Camping in Dolavon (S 43.30512 65.71148 W), large area in the sand, benches / tables / grills, bathrooms. The campground is free, the guards wanted a tip.
