The road from Coban to here is perfect, every kind of car can do it.
You can let your van here while you go to semuc champey. It’s 30Q to park.
Then you can take a pickup to semuc from the parking lot. It’s 25Q one way. The entrance to the park is an other 50Q per person.

Good place to park your car to go to Semuc. You pay 30 quetzal to park. I would sleep at the bad cave though as that might be more quiet.

Nous sommes arrivés sur ce spot EXON. Douche chaude et wifi pour 50qtz/nuit un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le site est surveillé par vidéo et par un guarde armé 24/24. Pour la visite de seymuc je vous conseille Nelson un guide vraiment sympa qui rend la balade très agréable, il a fait découvrir aux enfants la cardamome et le caco. Idéal en famille ! Asked to stay here for the night. The security guard told us it was 50q just to camp and 80q to use facilities. We ended up parking right next to the road, no WiFi, toilets etc. Loud until 10.30 and road got busy at 5am. We weren’t allowed to let our cats out of the van. Still 30q for the day. While there aren’t many options in town I wouldn’t recommend this one.

An unlikely place to camp, but for us it has been good. We spent 2 nights here and left the camper for the day and took a taxi to Semuc Champey. Q30 for day parking & Q50 for the night. Very clean toilets, hot showers, free wifi, 24hr security. It is a gas station so there is plenty of activity until 10pm when it closes and is silent till 7am. We felt safe here and recommend this place for a short visit. Note: do not attempt to drive to Semuc Champey, the road is steep, rough and busy. Take local transport. We paid Q300 for our family of 4 return & our driver waited for us. No need for a guide. Public transport is Q25 per person. Each way. It’s definitely worth the trip.

Gasolinera con baños y duchas muy modernas y limpias. Agua caliente en el baño de mujeres. Muchos puntos de electricidad y agua para llenar el tanque. Guarda las 24h, Wi-Fi lento pero funciona. 50Q por carro o bien si llena el tanque de combustible dejan estacionar. Perfecto para ir al Semuc Champey, dejamos nuestra Kombi todo el día sin ningún problema. Cualquier automóvil llega hasta aquí o al centro de Lanquin pero recomendamos tomar colectivo hacia Semuc Champey, el camino está en muy malas condiciones.

Gas station with very modern and clean bathrooms and showers. Hot water in the women's bathroom. Many electricity points and water to refill the tank. Security guard 24h, slow Wi-Fi but it works. 50Q per car the night or if you full the fuel tank, let them park with no extra cost. Perfect to go to Semuc Champey, we leave our Kombi all day and no problem. Any car reaches until here or the center of Lanquin but we recommend taking a pickup 4x4 to Semuc Champey, the road is in very bad condition.

Good place, especially when you arrive late and when it’s raining. There’s a large, well lit, covered rest area with power outlets. The gas station is open from 4 am. to 10 pm. but there’s an armed guard on duty all night long. In the women’s restrooms there’s even a hot shower, the best one we had in five weeks traveling in Guatemala. Q50/vehicle.

Nice and modern place. Fast wifi, clean bathrooms with showers. Cold.
Good rest area with electricity sockets.
We also paid 50 Q do park our SUV with rooftent.
Armed guard with .12 shot gun all night.
We felt safe.
Recomend like a good option to whom goes to Semuc Champey.

Great place to leave the camper during the day to go to Semuc Champey. They will help you to find a driver to go who will pick you up at the station at any time. We didn’t sleep there, but the station owners have a camping close to the Exon where we stayed. We payed 60 quetzales for sleeping at the camping and leaving the truck the other day at the station.

new gas station before lanquin. the guard said it is not free to park here. it is 50QZ to park for the night and leaving the car here while visiting semuc is okay. very very clean bathrooms.

We had problems with our Van and decided to stop here for changing our brakes. They guys who worked there were very friendly and one of them spoke english, they helped us also with the work without wanting some money. The bathrooms are very modern, clean and even with a hot shower! There was also a good working wifi. We payed for staying overnight 50 Q. Felt very safe, there is also a 24h guard.

free camping at New station built in September 2017. the bathrooms were amazingly nice with shower too. it seems that hot water should work but just doesn't yet.

electric outlets available in the parking area as well as a spigot though not at the same spot

small store.

staff all speak decent English and have classes at the station. everyone is super friendly.

this place us close to the cave parking lot but a lot less bugs and free.
