Mexico
Just before the bridge there is some parks on the right, right next to the river. Nice little spot with shade. Stayed 2 nights in our van no dramas. Cars a bit load but slows down over night. Taco stands just up the road. Free!

I stayed for one night. It was busy until 10pm but at night pretty quite and I felt safe.
The next day some guy came over and told me the locals dont want gringos here and that someone might try to rob me.
I left.
Loved this place! The restaurant is closed (permanently? It was very run down) so we pulled all the way in under the trees next to the bridge, hidden and easy access to the river, lots of shade, excellent 4g signal and spotted a large iguana in the river in the morning! Water lovely for a bath.
Report Check-InWe stayed here, it was ok. There were almost no bugs and we were able to sleep with our windows open with no screens. The original post says little parks on the right. These are NOT parks, they are just little dirt pull offs next to the river. Braden swam in the river to cool off before bed. The water was clear at night but muddy in the morning. It was pretty loud until about midnight and again at 6:30. The next day we drove down the road towards Espinoza Del Diablo and found a quieter little pull off on the left. We posted it under Pull off on Cuale River. We would have stayed there instead if we knew about it.
Report Check-InLittle space to park but we still managed to get a space for our 20 feet long - 11 feet high motorhome, directly by the river ! We walked down the dirt street one minute and arrived at a really beautiful fancy restaurant that is actually by the river. Good food, good drinks, 1087 pesos for 3 drinks and 2 meals, worth the experience. Mariachi band playing and making ya dance! La fiesta (Note i am not sober when I write this) ! Amazing place to discover :)
Report Check-InGood near Puerto Vallarta center and for free ! You can sleep while hearing the river flow. Nice little community. Water (potable) is for free on the right when leaving this spot.
