If you are bigger than, say, a Unimog, you will have troubles turning around.
Stayed for five nights withouth getting bothered.

Report Check-InA weird spot to spend the night. We arrived after dark and were able to use the GPS to get us to the entrance road. We weren’t bothered all night, and the sound of the train is the distance was fine. We are 24’ long and when we reached the portion of the road where it dips down with huge potholes we stopped and struggled to turn around. Not sure if we reached the right spot but it was definitely not possible to go down the hill so it’s all we had. An OK spot in a pinch but I wouldn’t want to stay here again if we didn’t need to. Beware: road also has some big erosion on it so the sides drop away quickly. Go very slowly and use lots of light/caution.
Report Check-InWe tried to stop here in the evening (9:00pm), but were not able to find the spot. The coordinates lead us to a very small pull-off that didn't look big enough for our van (GMC Safari). We drove back toward the highway to look for somewhere else to stay.
