If you want to meet an interesting host who is also an excellent mechanic and most helpful with any mechanical problem this is THE place. I was treated like a very good friend and
learnt a lot about Paraguay.

i wasn't intending to stop for the night around here, but the reviews were so good i changed plans and stopped here, so glad i did, walter and his wife are lovely people, so helpful. Walter has lots of stories to tell about his life and travels, we sat under a canopy drinking beer and getting the craic both nights i was there. a wonderfully atmospheric place.

Awesome place. Walter is really great and has a really interesting history of travel in his Citroen 2CV and he's off again next week. He helped us find oil for the bikes among other things and we shared many a wine. We laid 80,000 per night for the room he has with private bathroom and hot shower. Very comfortable. There's a panaderia opposite and about 5 blocks away there's a huge supermarket with ATM. Highly recommended. Great workshop available to.

The Place is still as nice as described!
We stayed 7 days with fixing a few things at the car and talking a lot with Walter.
He is a very nice guy and extremly helpfull. The Place has a good Workshop for mechanical work on the car and is pretty close to town with all facilities you need. Highly recommended!

We passed here but we didn't fit (2.60mt) and the street is noisy because of the motorcycles.

Walter and Dori are super nice people! We talked with him for hours about his travels in Southamerica. He usually prefers his Citroen 2CV over the old Landy! We enjoyed our stay immensely! We payed 80.000 Guaranis (just 12€!!!) for the double with private bathroom! Just over the street is a bakery/empanadaria/heladeria. We planned with one night and stayed three! Walter is extremely helpful and has quite a good garage as well!

Nice place to stay, very friendly and helpful owner, speaks german, spanish and a little english, helps you in case of problems with your vehicule, place is close to town.

Walter is a guy to meet and a friend to make! Amazing overlanding stories and tips! Loved it! Wonderful quiet garden unless you are on a big rig, then you won't fit inside, only on the front of the house. Still, perfect facilities to stay overnight and if any trouble mechanic or so, Walter will point you in the right direction!

Great overlanders destination and Hostel located conveniently close to everything. I have a Toyota Tacoma pickup with a pop-up camper 7 ft or 2.3 M high and it fit through the gate with a few inches to spare. Great facilities and outstanding staff. The entrance is across the street from a gym and ice cream shop. When I arrived GPS coordinates were off.

We wanted to stay there for only one night - we left on the 5th day.
Walter is very friendly and overland experienced, so he gave us lot of helpful tips.
BBQ, kitchen, bathroom with hot water, garage ... all what is needed, can be found there.
Internet access. Local market and lot of supermarkets ...

Great location in town close to food, etc. Walter is a legend in over landing experience, is a mechanic and has a mini paradise for over landers stopping here. We had a private room with air con and private bath for. 80,000 per night and covered parking for two bikes. Full kitchen and covered lounge area and wifi available. Shop on site if you need to work on car or bike.
