Description

Parking at the edge of Rio Deseado. Very quiet with a great view of the islands with lots of birds. On Isla Quiroga we can see lots of magellan penguins. For tents there are places with grass. Near the city.
.....

Like already mentioned, a beautiful, big and leveled space with beautiful views and an amazing soundtrack orchestrated by birds, penguins and sea lions. No wind protection so we highly recommend parking in the direction of the wind.

What a magic spot in front of the islands! There are plenty of (leveled) options along the road. Pure nature around you. We stayed the night there and launched our kajak the next morning.

Un lugar para pasar horas relajadas rodeados de pura naturaleza 🥰

Lovely wild camping, beautiful view on the islands with lots of birds and pinguïns. And still close enough to the city to do some shopping and laundry. Many nice people in this little town, within 3 days we felt part of the community. Very worth the detour. Don't take route 47, it saves you 100km, but takes you 5 hours to finish the 150 km because of bad condition.

Beautiful spot with an amazing view. In walking distance to Darwin Tours. They offer tours along the Ria Deseado and to the island, where you can see the rockhopper penguins.
