Today there is no gas/diesel, no showers

Report Check-In

Internet around 3 mbits. 1000pesos per person per shower. hot water but unfriendly people. but maybe its just the way the people are here in the south. comapred to the north.

Report Check-In

Estación de servicios, shop, sanitarios, playa para pernoctar o estar, ducha x 200 pesos, agua caliente para mate. combustible. wifi

Report Check-In

We filled up car with gas and spent one night here, safe place to stay after El Chalten before Gob.Gregores, slow wi-fi, little convenience and bathrooms open until 9pm, staff not so friendly but no have more options avaiable in Tres Lagos in winter. Good Wind protection, was very strong at night. Showers didn't work.

Report Check-In

We stayed for the night and it was quiet We found also nice people, but maybe you have to speak a little Spanish. Shower was clean and hot (in the private ??) we paid 100 and it’s normal for the location

Report Check-In

Not a very friendly owner. Very windy. But we filled up with gas during beginning of COVID...

WiFi: cftl2019

Report Check-In

Gas still at 64 p/l, whereas in calafate 48.69. I bought ice cream and kindly asked for the WiFi password and was answered that there is no more wifi.

Report Check-In

We'll I don't know where the friendly lady or cool guy are as the bloke we spoke to here was a miserable git . 50 pesos for a shower, it got hot eventually but the room was a bit grim and the door didn't close. They also said the wifi doesn't work despite us being able to find 2 networks and everyone inside on their phones. It was blowing a gale when we were here so I can't imagine camping would be much fun, personally I'd look elsewhere...

Report Check-In

Price of the gasoline 64pesos/ L. But hey, you are in the middle of nowhere...

Report Check-In

They had gas, 52p/liter - way more expensive than in Gregores (45p/l) but wanted to use the chance to fill up.

Report Check-In

nuit calme
on capte la wifi dans l office.Par contre les douches sont payantes 30 pesos par personne ,l eau coule mal et elle n est pas tres chaude.
C est une ancienne station YPF qui n a pas de marque particuliere a present.Pas de gaz infinia.

Report Check-In

Dirty bathroom with very bad shower. 30pp
People totally unfriendly.
90 pesos for a coffee.
Not worth to stop here

Report Check-In

We can park our motorhome near the station and use the hot showers and the toilette for 30 $ARG. They are not very clean but shower is hot. Good Wi-Fi.
Possibility to buy something to eat in the station directly.

Report Check-In

Great for a one night stop. We parked our campervan on the right side of the gas station, right by the picnic tables and it was very cozy. The wifi was the best we have found so far on Ruta 40, fast and worked perfectly. The baños are basid but work just fine. Highly recomended!

Report Check-In

tranquilo lugar para pasar la noche. comer algo. buenos baños...

Report Check-In

Euro diesel at 48 pesos, pretty expensive 25% more than previous station ( of did i miss a currency correction)

Report Check-In

very good place for stay the night , agua disponible

Report Check-In

Good stop on Ruta40, good wifi, showers, « baños », mini Market (for sweeties Cola and chips) and nafta grade 2. They are also some places for one or two tents with a relative wind protection.
Shower 30.

Report Check-In

Allowed to camp without charge. Friendly people although didn't chat with them a lot.
Didn't use the shower so can't comment on that but bathrooms were clean. Quiet night here...and still snow from earlier today.

Report Check-In

very nice family. we were allowed to stay there. the shower was hot after a long time waiting...we paid 20 for the shower!!!

Report Check-In

Still same wifi pasword. We spent the night next to shop, the owner allow to do it free

Report Check-In

Showers still 20$/pp, good Wifi.
Well, the showers are a 4/10... But better than nothing... Maybe the owners had a bad day, but there weren‘t really friendly...

Report Check-In

Kewl kind fella running this place. He let us camp here for 3 nights (car troubles) without buying anything. Bring plenty of cash, we existed for 3 days here on a diet solely of peach marmalade cause we didn't have any. Pretty classic.

Report Check-In

Gas for cash only, very nice owner let us tent camp in the yard for free. Bought coffee(65$ ouch) but it was good(keurig) after drinking so much instant coffee in Chile/Arg it was very welcomed.

They open 9am close 10pm

Report Check-In

Wifi password (was not working at the time) -
[passwords are not allowed unless explicitly permited by the owner]

Diesel is now 22pesos

Report Check-In

Perfect gas station in the middle of nowhere, nice family running it. WiFi was great and not a bad coffee either. Diesel was 21 arg per litre. Air to pump tyres back if heading south on paved roads. Didn't use facilities.

Report Check-In

Wifi, Water, Free Camping with dirty toilets. Bring enough argentinian currency

Report Check-In

plenty of gas here. camping is free. good WiFi. nice people.

Report Check-In

Here you can get gas to 17.5 arg/liter. Is better you tank here in high season because because is hard to find gas in El Chalten and also in El Calafate. We had this problem driving north: 3 hrs line in El Calafate to get gas and then no gas in El Chalten for 2 days.

Report Check-In

expensive (compared to YPF, 17.50 vs. 14.90) and cash only, but we're happy to find Gas as many stations in this region running out of Gas regularly.

Report Check-In

16.82/ ltr for gas oil No Euro diesel available as of 10/12/2016

Report Check-In

Good spot to spend the night. Quiet.

Report Check-In

Gas station is definitely finished and in use. We were able to fill up here on our way north from El Chalten. Can't speak to how often they get gas though. We were in El Calafate during a gas transport strike and had to wait a week for the trucks to come. Be aware there is a 30-40% markup on gas here and other items are similarly expensive.

Report Check-In

They sold gasoline only up to 250 pesos worth per car. Didn't stay over night but it wouldn't be a bad spot since it's a bit away from the road.

Report Check-In

diesel 13pesos, only 2pesos more than YPF stations.

Report Check-In

Sometimes they don't get fuel for over a week, so I wouldn't depend on fueling up here!
