Latest Check-Ins

Happened to pass this whilst on our way from San cris to tuxtla and decided to check it out. Really great spot to spend a few hours and cool off. Friendly staff, cheap food and entry. Unfortunately had already booked a place in tuxtla otherwise we would have stayed the night (they even asked if we wanted to stay as we had bikes).

Report Check-In

They insisted on 100 pesos per person to camp, plus 25 for entry to the waterfall, wouldn’t budge on priced so we didn’t stay. 250 is way too much for the parking lot.

Report Check-In

50 pesos per person, guards were friendly, left the bathrooms unlocked all night for us.
Nice spot!

Report Check-In

nice and quiet site.
chill at night
gards wanted us to pay 50 pesos per person.... so 200 (because we are 4 in a camper) to stay on a parking.
but second night we bargain 100 pesos... don't hesitate to lower the price!!!
the waterfall is nice but not crazy
water is very cold
you can see bats in the end of the cave

Report Check-In

Quiet overnight parking in the paved parking lot of Cascada de Chorreadero. They charges us 100 Peso for camping and 25 Peso p.P. to visit the small waterfall and the cave. It´s a nice refreshing dip in the 22°C water.

Report Check-In

Good safe place for the night. Guards tried to charge $150 pesos, negotiated down to $100 pesos for the entry and camping overnight for two people and the van. Make sure you ask that they leave open the side gate for use of bathrooms after they close. Really nice pools to cool down, don’t miss the short climb into the cave, totally worth it. Overall a nice stopover if you’re on your way or leaving San Cristóbal, recommended.

Report Check-In

Starting price was 100 pesos for the night but brought it down to 50. Good secure location. Comedor owner and guards helpful and friendly. Cell signal good. Recommend for safe overnight. No dogs allowed past the car park.

Report Check-In

Paid 50$ for two for entrance fee and another 50$ to camp the night prior to entering the falls.
Falls and pools are very pretty. No one else around.
Undisturbed at night. Staff not overly friendly but it could be our lack of Spanish and asking to camp!
There are a few rats around! Be careful!

Report Check-In

We arrived after 6 o clock and payed 100 Pesos for the night and two entrys for the next day. We felt save and it was quiet. The parkinglot is nothing beautiful but okay for one night.

Report Check-In

Paid 25p/p to see the waterfall and then stayed the night in the parking lot. We asked if it was safe overnight and they said it was not secure, but we risked it and all was well. The fall themselves were not particularly impressive - maybe better in wet season?

Report Check-In

25p/p for the waterfall, stayed overnight I the parking lot for free! We asked the guy at the entrance and said there was no problem and safe ! The site close at 5pm (so as the bathrooms), very quiet night.
