Cool place! We came here to search for the Andean Bear. The owner Vladimir was really friendly and let us stay with our motorhome on the parking lot next to the road. They have a restaurant and WiFi. From the Mirador you can see Andean Condors as well.

It was quite a ride in the darkness and gravel road for 22km and sometimes very steep so, when I found the place closed I was very disappointed. But after trying out the 3 other places who all were deserted and closed I decided to stay in front of Tambo Condor and could admire the stars and the view on Quito. Luckily in the morning the people ca when a groupie of birdwatchers cape, and I saw 2 condors!!

I had the whole cottage to myself, paying 15US for my room with private bathroom. My luggage was taken down by jeep, in the evening dinner was delivered and a fire lit.
The view is incredible.
A beautiful place and very nice staff

As described, Tambo Condor is a restaurant/hostal with a nice terrace overlooking the valley and the lake, with hummingbirds in the garden and condors in the distance.
Very friendly owner likes to receive overlanders either in the small (max. 2 trucks) parking lot on the street or of course rents cabanas for people wanting to get out of their rig/rooftop.

We could camp in the small level parking at the street. Very quiet at night. Vladimir let us have a warm shower and use the bathroom in one of the cabañas, he showed us the young condor and offered us a welcome tee. We hade a delicious soup for dinner in his restaurant and the next morning he didn‘t want to charge us for the camping! Great place to visit Antisana.

Nice place with excelent owners. They had to go to town so gave us the keys to the restaurant!
Had the place just for us.
Payed 20$ for the night in one of the huts.
We do recomend the place. Just 5 minutes drive to the entrance to the park.

If you have the chance, stay in the cabañas right in the cliff, the views to the Laguna and the waterfalls are majestic. We negotiated the price to $25dlls per night for 3 of us and our dog. There are heaters in the rooms and fire chimneys in the living rooms. Great terraces. It’s cold and windy here, so it was great to gave us a break from our rooftop tent. You will enjoy your visit to the Antisana reserve.

Great place, great people! Excelent food, quite cheap. Put my tent in their garden for 2 dollars ! good place for bird watching. La laguna mica at 4000 worths the visit...

This place is fantastic. For $15 per person you have a room in cabaña with a beautiful view on Laguna and mountains where you can watch condors nesting on the rocks and a lot of hummingbirds. The scenery from the room or balcony is breathtaking. You can also camp for $3 p.p. In cabaña you have a kitchen, tarraces, fire place and they provide small heater for your room because it's cold there. There is a restaurant where you can have a meal for $5. We also recommend to drink a delicious tea from this region.
To get there from Pintag just follow the road to Reserva Ecológica Antisana.
