Beautiful and quiet. Hot showers when you let them run for a bit first. Nice bathrooms. Fire pits. Campsites are easy to get in and out of, and most are surrounded by brush/trees so it feels pretty private. Would definitely book again for more than one night.

Report Check-In

Pleasant spacious campground with grassy sites. Facilities are roughly OK but could be cleaner especially washing up sink. Lots of park entertainment laid on, good walks in the area. $33-38 depending on day, can book online.

it seems that price just updated for 2024. got charged $40 for tent camp with no hookups and no hot water in the showers. it's been 70°F during the day and 50°F overnight and water heat for the showers is solar (the old pipe solar, not the fotovoltaic panels). water doesn't get to warm up. by the end of the day there was just 1 spot left, recommended to reserve online a few days earlier.

Stayed in site 85 for 3 nights. We enjoyed our time here. A good amount of space between sites. Flush toilets and warm showers. Right in the heart of the Everglades. Bugs weren’t bad when we were there in March. Would stay again.

Report Check-In

Facilities were clean. Mosquitoes mainly at dawn and dusk in late December. Despite below comment, water tasted fine for us. Nike Missile Base ranger program was great!

Report Check-In

no electric, showers are solar heated, flush toilets, campfire rings, picnic tables.
Potable water is not palatable, it tastes like chemicals from the hose tubing they used. Highly recommend buying water before coming here, my water filter was unable to filter the taste.

Report Check-In

Standard national park amenities. $30/night for rent or RV with no electric or hookups. Pretty quite, lovely staff.

Report Check-In

Nice site. Pretty spaced out and quiet. You can reserve online now. Showers were mildly warm but with the heat they were good. Camp sells firewood . 25 w atb pass. There’s a trailhead before the site I recommend, lots of nature wildlife

Report Check-In

Its 25 per site now. Weak at&t no t-mobile signal

Report Check-In

Great spot, plenty of shade and about $24 for no power or water. The showers are solar so dont expect a warm shower in the morning. We were also lucky enough to see a ranger talk here.

Report Check-In

Hello
We are arriving at the beginning of the night so there was nobody to the entrance of the park and this camping was open and give us a place.
So realy quiet place to park your motorhome or plant your tent.
Good for family.
Nice place, cheap, friendly crew, quiet night...what else..
Croods approved

Report Check-In

Great campground within Everglades National Park. Lots of first come first serve sites. Even though there is 108 sites they are spaced nicely and it doesn’t feel over crowded. The showers are just barely warm but other then that it is a great campground. Oh and it is a dog friendly campground. Sites are regularly $20/night but you get $2/night off if you have annual park pass

Report Check-In

Nice campground in the pine Forrest. There are buildings with flushing toilets, and seperat buildings with solar heated showers. On some evening there are ranger programs at the amphitheater. There is also a dumpstation.
20$ per night, 18$ with annual pass

Report Check-In

Absolutely amazing place !! A lot of trees and birds. Really clean restrooms and showers. Even if the solar showers provide you with not much warm water, its nice anyway.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground. Clean restrooms and showers, flat ground to park, tables, fire/bbq pit, dishwashing station, $20 for small cars or tents. First come first served. There are a few short trails around the campground.

Report Check-In
