We left Cabo de la Vela via the northern route and entered from the south. We preferred this road much more because of the almost none existent ropes blocking the street and the much better road condition (we even saw a big tour bus slowly driving this road). There were only two ropes. One still on the ground of some very young children who were happy about water. Another one was of some teenage girls who were laughing at our water and said they had plenty. They were asking for money, but in a nice way. When we didn't give them any and asked them to please drop the rope they did so and smiled.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

if you find this road is better probably depends on how much you like washboard...
