Large market with heaps of tourist stalls. We felt prices were substantially higher than other markets despite negotiation. The actual shops around the parameter sold items for cheaper than the stalls.

We came here on a Saturday morning, the craft, fruit, vegetables, clothing market is really very large and very pretty. However, watch out for pickpockets, we had it and we were stolen a phone!

Really big market with a big variety of stuff. Lots of alpaca wool clothes and souvenirs.

We were here on a Wednesday and I loved the vibe, one of the nicest markets I've been to in South America. Vendors tried to sell their items but weren't too pushy. Nice and friendly haggling and there's a pleasant variety in stuff on offer.

Everyone very happy to negotiate, not too pushy. We had fun. If you don’t want to street park there is parking for 50c an hour here 0.228658, -78.260637

we weren't able to find any large parking area near this pin so ended up street parking. or you can stay up at Casa De Campo on the hill and walk here in 15 minutes. even on a Tuesday at noon there are a ton of stalls. I can't imagine it being busier on a Saturday. lots of nice stuff. basically every vendor starts trying to sell you stuff as you walk by so it was kind of hard to browse in peace, but they weren't to pushy. haggling isn't apart of my vocabulary, so I found the nice items I liked to be pretty expensive still.

nice market when we were there on a Monday around noon.
no pushy vendors and not too many people so it was pleasant to walk through

We found this market to be a fun stop. Lots of Alpaca scarves, ponchos, etc. The vendors dealt really well. Most prices were cut in 1/2 by the time you actually decided to buy. We stocked up on Christmas gifts here. Many vendors were selling the same items, but a few offered unique things. Very large secure parking lot on one corner of the market, can accommodate any size rig. .50/hour to park.

Report Check-In

While it is open every day, Saturday is the famous day when there are many more vendors.

Report Check-In

Came on Tuesday at around 3 pm. Super mellow, kind vendors, didn't feel intimidated at all.

Report Check-In

Visited on a Saturday at noon. Busy but not too crowded. Lots to choose from, especially warm layers, and all the vendors we spoke to were friendly.

Report Check-In

Came here early (10-11am) early on a Tuesday morning. The market was very quiet so vendors were very aggressive as soon as you got near. Felt uncomfortable and left.

worth a quick look, pretty much your standard array of beads, trinkets and clothing. not a huge variation in the stuff for sale. good spot if you need to stock up on warmer layers tho. personally I found the food market at the other end of the street infinitely more fascinating.
