Beautiful spot and the lady who loves there was happy and very willing to let us walk through site (with our dogs), explaining as best through translate the history of this place.
The site is bigger then we get to see as she will explain due to private land owners and crops planted on sites.
The history is so vast and remarkable.
We feel it was worth the hour or more we spent.

We have a tip and encourage others to do the same as there is no entry fee. A lot of work has been done.

The English speaking archeologist has left but there is another young woman and her husband on site and she will happily show you around. She doesn't speak English but has lots of pictures, renderings, and maps to show along the tour. You'll also enter their work shop with some artifacts and an unexcavated skeleton if I understood correctly. Free and took 30 minutes. Like the others..We waited at the barbed wire gate for a little bit, then just walked in and there she was!

Archaeological dig site. Located 7 years ago. Still lots to be done. Tours available. No signs at entrance. Just open gate and follow walkway. You will run into the man that will guide you. Very interesting.
